Friendly service food was ok was open "late"
Surprised as to how much the area has changed, miss the old atmosphere always busy and bubbling with people
This place used to be called Southern Fried Chicken (Southern's). Those that know, know. In an area that has seen so much change, it's great to still see such an important local institution going strong. The amount of people that were raised being nourished by this shop is staggering and I consider myself lucky to have been one. Family atmosphere and Boss man treats everyone so attentively. I had been away for a decade - walked into the shop to be greeted by a warm smile and a face that still remembered me. So heart warming. And I haven't even talked about the food. Wings are still ridiculously good - gorgeous tender chicken in a generous crispy breading, spiced like a hot wing should be. Fillet burger could be breaded a little better but the flavour is still so good. My only one gripe is that they stopped doing the rice with curry sauce which was an absolute classic! I love this place and hope they are always a fixture on Edgware Road. For the sake of the children!!! :D

Love this place. Go there for burgers all the way from Kingston. Don't understand people saying they are priced ok or priced well. They are the cheapest prices you will find for what you get. And their burgers might be a bit small but they are delicious (and cheap). Get two if they are too small. Still works out cheaper.
Ive been coming here when no7 was £2 ( chicken fillet burger , chips and drink , mid 2000 ) thats for the old school locals. Good chicken shop . حلال . Parking and bus stop right outside , shop is On the main road . Tasty with decent prices . Thanks 😊 and 💯 recommendations. Eat in or take out available , self service .
