Butchies

Wanted to get a feel for what the world’s famous Popeyes chicken sandwich was like and decided to try the original butchies chicken sandwich. Never tried the Popeyes version, but this is hands down one of the best chicken burgers/sandwiches I’ve ever had. Really quick delivery and the fries were good as well. Would definitely recommend.

Was very worried after reading several reviews of this branch of Butchies. Decided to pop down and see for myself. The 2 staff on the counter were amazing despite being visually very rushed. I proceeded to order a burger and fries and sat down to wait. The burger arrived not long after, perfectly cooked, juicy and succulent. as good if not better than most of the hipster fried chicken joints that have popped up around London. Been here a couple of times now and always had a great experience. Staff are prompt, courteous and friendly and the service from order to food was quick. Prices are pretty standard and the OG Meal deal is good. Its a much more upscale KFC burger thats tender, juicy, crispy and tasty! The fries are fresh cut skin on fries that are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of salt seasoning! Ive also had the "Jenny from the Block" here which is fantastic too. Cant wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! The Market Hall itself is spacious airy and vibrant. A cool place to eat drink and hang out!
