Had the Hot Chicken Sandwich and Cheese Fries with some chipotle mayo on the side. The chicken though fantastically seasoned and spicy was a nice attempt - but not true Tenessee hot chicken - just a simple homage. The batter was a bit soft, but overall really tasty chicken and I can't say it took away from it in the slightest, we are in the UK after all, and good chicken is hard to find! The chips weren't as crispy as I'd hoped either - again, a little more time in the fryer and a simple drier could have helped here to make them perfect. Cheese was US style melted cheese sauce, and the chipotle mayo was decent. The staff weren't too enthusiastic to be working at this place, and didn't make any special effort to sell it, and I might not have tried this at all if it weren't for the hot chicken sandwich on the menu. But more people need to sample their delights and if the owner sees this, just a few little changes make a big difference.
It was so delicious and the staff was really nice!Loved the menu and the portions were great. Music was a little bit too loud for my taste. I didn't understand the waitress, when I ordered my food.

Was very worried after reading several reviews of this branch of Butchies.
Decided to pop down and see for myself. The 2 staff on the counter were amazing despite being visually very rushed. I proceeded to order a burger and fries and sat down to wait. The burger arrived not long after, perfectly cooked, juicy and succulent. as good if not better than most of the hipster fried chicken joints that have popped up around London. The staff are a true credit to this store and can’t wait to come back again my
This place is all about huge tasty burgers. Went for the chicken burger and the cheesy chips. The chicken piece was huge! Almost double the size of the bun. The chips were ok, they use American cheese so it comes from squeeze bottle. Gets cold quite quickly.
Got the cheesy rider and butch fries delivered from Deliveroo. The burger was soooo good. I wish the sauce was distributed more evenly, but that’s just me being weird. The fries were also really good, though not has hot as I would’ve expected.
Been here a couple of times now and always had a great experience. Staff are prompt, courteous and friendly and the service from order to food was quick. Prices are pretty standard and the OG Meal deal is good. Its a much more upscale KFC burger thats tender, juicy, crispy and tasty! The fries are fresh cut skin on fries that are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of salt seasoning! Ive also had the "Jenny from the Block" here which is fantastic too. Cant wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!
The Market Hall itself is spacious airy and vibrant. A cool place to eat drink and hang out!
Wanted to get a feel for what the world’s famous Popeyes chicken sandwich was like and decided to try the original butchies chicken sandwich. Never tried the Popeyes version, but this is hands down one of the best chicken burgers/sandwiches I’ve ever had. Really quick delivery and the fries were good as well. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing crispy chicken. Super moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The chips were outstanding, lovely and crispy and fluffy on the inside. Not sure why this place has such a low rating. Chicken was the best I have ever had!! Will definitely be back!!!
