Mamalan

Stopped here as I've had nothing to eat since breakfast. Got to say the food was served very quick following ordering and all seems freshly prepared nice and hot too (temperature not spicy hot). The menu was not busy nor overloaded with options. The staffs are welcoming and the place was cosy, clean and comfortable.

The food here is good and the cost performance is not too bad. Although me as Asian is not amazing to me, but in clapham common high street. I think it is still a good place to have a quick valuable meal. What I disappointed me was the customer service. All the staff look like in good chatting environment which I do not mind at all if they did the job great. The server who got me ordered quickly was very friendly. I believed he will do his best to feed my hungry stomach. Sadly after twenty mins he said to me the soup has out of stock. I was not very happy at the beginning but he said sorry direct to me nicely and quickly get me another food, which comfort my feeling immediately and I felt all fine even the food has not came yet! I was a professional chef. So i think most responsibility of this issue ia from kitchen. After few mins the replacement soup noodle came to my table, when i was about to tuck in but I shocked found out there was only one big spoon for soup without chopsticks to get noodles. I tried to talk to the staff who sent me food about that “can I have chopsticks please?” But she didn’t feel sorry about her mistake and even give me a numb face. I do not think smile to customers is essential but at least we customers deserved a good manner to treat with.....
