The only thing I dont like about this place are the opening hours because half the time I go there its closed! Everything I have had from there has been good so far. I like the beef in black bean sauce and you can never go wrong with chicken chow mein.
I can't understand why this place has such bad reviews... I picked up food from here after work a couple of weeks ago. The man who served me was friendly and the service was quick. The food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Will be returning!!
Ordered via deliveroo, food came quite fast which was great! Pay for what you get sort of food, can't expect 5* grade food for cheap prices, although they do make a great peaking duck, very crispy and tasted amazing, could do with more pancakes though.
Very good value for money. I got a "special set meal A" which was 6 sweet and sour chicken balls with egg fried rice and black bean chicken for £9. It was perfectly nice but not mind blowing. The black bean chicken was supposed to be spicy but I found it to be quite plain. That said I would order from here again as the value for money was good and their starters are very nice (from previous experience).
We ordered in person and it took about 10 minutes for them to serve us and a further 20 minutes to give us our food so not too bad interns of waiting times, although not ideal at the moment as your only option is to wait outside.
Ordered a few times on Uber Eats and the price and portion size were great. Was also quite tasty...not sure why it has such a low rating bc both orders were delicious 😋
I always have special chow mein and sweet n sour pork balls from any chinese I goto..the special from here is in my top 2 of best ever I've had.. nothing wrong with the pork balls either however the sweet n sour sauce could do with being abit stronger.. 9/10 for me
I came on here to check opening times before I go and order from this restaurant and was shocked by the reviews! I’ve got food from here 5/6 times now, being new to tooting I can promise you this is the BEST Chinese I’ve ever had and I wasn’t a big Chinese fan. Since I’ve moved here, I eat it quite frequently as this particular shop never fails to come through. The beef in black bean sauce and chicken in black bean sauce is delicious. The fried rice and noodles are amazing and not dry. The fried squid and prawns is to die for. I am so confused about these reviews as it is genuinely SO SO SO fresh and tasty. I’ve never left a google review before but I really had to this time. 10/10, tasting, price and portions. Would highly highly recommend.
Live nearby and always walk up to order. Can't fault it, great local Chinese at a good prices. Staff are friendly and food quality is good. Can't complain!
Really delicious Chinese food. All the dishes we ordered were very flavorful. The tofu in particular was cooked really well. Delivery was within 20 minutes of placing the order on the phone, would recommend.
Just ordered my food, off hungry houses website from them, the food was incredibly hot when it arrived, the food was surprisingly fresh tasting the salad was crisp not wilted, I ordered 4 items which were lamb belly with pancakes, spicy ribs, special dragon fried rice and wonton soup. All in all tasted familiar to most Chinese places but wasn't oily and tasted very fresh. If you want the taste of British Chinese food then, I recommend them, if you want something better you'll probably have to go to China
We really enjoyed this Chinese. The food was delicious and at good value. The delivery arrived within 30 minutes of ordering. We will be using China Dragon again.
