I had lunch yesterday and I am going today again before going to Scotland, their ham is just the best ham I had in my life and I am 56, I go frequently to Spain and I had hundreds of hams but none compere to this; it is not salted, richer and with the best aftertaste simply excellent, I had the seafood paella and It was great too, Spanish decorated, nice atmosphere(Spanish TV), good service, I recommend it particularly if you like ham
I've just had a wonderful lunch here. Im a Pimlico local resident (7 years) and I can highly recommend this restaurant.
I have read the other reviews and am surprised to read the comments left and do not think they truly represent this restaurant in any way! Seriously!
I ordered the Serrano Ham , and an Artichoke salad, also had two glasses (yes two!- It was that good), of the most delicious red wine (fresh- even by the glass), wish I'd ordered a bottle but was on my own!
Also followed by a coffee and fizzy water.
The service was great, staff were attentive and friendly and food well presented. I simply cannot understand the other reviews being negative and can only assume they were left by the local competing restaurants!
This venue is ideally located in the heart of Pimlico with the venue facing the direct afternoon sunshine, was so lovely and relaxing to have the sun on my face whilst sipping the wine and nibbling on the delicious ham! Rare in Pimlico to get the direct sun at a venue, take note Sun-Worshippers!
I pass this place very day with my dog and will be spending more time here, it's well worth supporting and I look forward to returning with my Spanish friends here in London.
Staff always lovely and looking forward to my next visit, Viva Espagne! Enjoy 😀
Took a cortado - mediocre coffee, but nice setting. The biscuit seemed fresh and was nice tasting. The shop also has a tapas menu but at 0900 I don't think it was the right time to be indulging in Spanish meats! ;) would like to be back to try tapas 😬
I only hope that when this place gets busy (which I am sure it will) that they can continue to deliver food and service of the level I experienced on my first visit. I also liked that when I asked for a glass of tap water, I got a large jug of iced water.
I was wandering through Tachbrook Street on a non market day, so it was pretty empty and I spotted Art of Tapas with its Miro inspired signage. There were only two customers sitting by the counter, so after checking the menu a few times I thought yeah, I'll give it a try.
The place has several "arty" touches - the specially designed kind of perching table outside with glass holders, the really "cute" hug me cushion, and as an extra bonus (which I am afraid could not be guaranteed on any other visit) one of the customers who was obviously a professional opera singer giving an informal audition to his companion - a stunning rendition of ava maria.
Off course I wasn't there for the bonus entertainment, I wanted to try the food. All the "arty" touches in the world would be not make me want to return to any restaurant. However I will most definitely return to Art of Tapas, the food was very good. I ordered a Spanish Omelette and a dish of Octopus legs, Chorizo and warm white bean salad. The omelette was tasty, light and fluffy, served with what at first seemed to be a bit too much lettuce and mayo. However the lettuce was so fresh, I actually cleaned my plate. The Octopus dish was also good, the beans nice and soft and the Octopus legs were perfect, not in the least bit chewy.

They have an excellent BYO Wine policy too, £3.00 for one person, £5.00 for two or free if you add your wine to their Sangria - Nice!
Had a really great lunch here today, delicious red wine (had two glasses) along with the Artichoke salad, also had the Serrano Ham which is the best I've had in London, followed by a great coffee served with a complimentary biscuit.
Sat outside in the sunshine on super-comfy chairs (unlike other venues in area they have clean soft pillows!)
This venue is south facing and therefore basking in the sunshine all day;- Sun-worshippers take note!
Had the sun on my face whilst enjoying the glass of red wine, blissful watching the world go by! Can highly recommend as a great spot to people watch!
Staff are (always) friendly and attentive. Other reviews on here do not sufficiently appear to reflect this venue in its true light. I'm a fussy local and I can only recommend this place, always a friendly welcome received, which is why I return every time. Cool relaxed vibe. Love it.
Amazing food and service by Francesco. Very Sweet and serviceminded.
Use to travel a lot in Spain and miss it so much. Francesco made us feel at home in Spain with his personality and singing.
We will for sure visit Art of Tapas again.

I booked the sunny terrace of this Pimlico favourite for my daughter's 18th and the proprietor did us proud. We pre-ordered his legendary paella and knocked back a few jugs of sangria in the August sunshine. It was fabulous. Thanks for making it such a special day xx
Great place. If you want to have an authentic Spanish experience this is the place to go. From the breakfast tortilla to the paella the food and service is top notch.
Would definitely recommend

I enjoyed this place for a tapas lunch dining al fresco. Their coffee was also exceptionally good. I felt like I was in Spain but better as they had vegetarian options! Will come back and try one of their breakfast options.
Super nice staff, great food. Perfect for a morning coffee, a relaxed lunch or even a paella party for 10 people!
Delicious food but quite pricey. Considering the area in London it's understandable, unique little place with authentic Spanish food.
Hi All, as a person that has traveled all 5 land based continents and being of Spanish descent, I can honestly say that this place would have to be the most authentic tapas bar outside of Spain, the tapas were simply magnificent, Viva Andalucia y sus tapas! Ole! Eduardo el Australiano!
Great food and friendly service, we had a fantastic paella, meatballs, fried chorizos and the delicious jabugo ham, top tapas and authentic Spanish food
