The food at Sambal express blew my mind! I have often found it difficult to get authentic south Asian food in the UK, but every time I go to Sambal express I’m blown away. The prices are always cheap but they never compromise on their portion sizes or flavours. I always go back for the chilli crab and mutton biryani and I am delighted every time. More than the food, the customer service is always 10/10. The manger is always helpful and provides a great service with his team.

I was pleasantly surprised with the high food quality while visiting my sister. We ordered chicken Varuval, fish curry, chilli crabs and chicken biryani. The food has the right spices and truly authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The staff were friendly and helpful.

A regular customer to Sambal Express for their string hoppers with sambal and sothi. I just love it. They have lots of south Indian foods to taste. 2 Vada with Tea a South Indian fav which no one can object when they hear.

Amazing, seemingly authentic delicious food. The vegetable biryani was a particular delight. They have an eclectic range of Sri Lankan and Indian dishes to take away including those that can be reheated on the spot.

Serves good quality food. String hoppers are very good, given with good quality take away packaging and coconut sambol given with it is exceptional.
They have lot of South Indian food. Their mains include rice and curry, roti/string hopper kottu, dosa, etc. They have tasty butter cakes. They have a wide selection of hot and spicy bites.
