Seriously good food! The sandwiches were insanely good, very tasty indeed. The pricing is great as well, was expecting it to be expensive but surprised to get such good food at this value. The Chicken Polony sandwich is out of this world. We got a steak and cheese as well, which was incredible! The owner, Shobz, is one of the nicest people with will talk to. His passion for food, his combination of ingredients and all round ideas for his menu are second to none. If you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for? I have tried the chicken pie and it definitely hits the spot. A great combination of flaky pastry with chicken pieces, chips and sauces. My husband and I are foodies and Joburger will definitely be on our' go to' list for good food in and around Woolwich 👍 Go on give it a try.🙌
I wasn’t sure what Palony was but it certainly didn’t disappoint! If you love cheese and you love chips and you love beef (and let’s face it…who doesn’t!) you’re gonna love this sandwich!

Hits the spot every single time! I can now confidently say I have tried everything on the menu and not a single item disappoints. Food is packed with flavour, hearty, delicious and made with love! The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Excited for the Joburger to continue to grow and to see what else they have to offer xx
Visited the Tooting Market branch. First up being South African myself in the UK for about 10 months the nostalgia was off the charts. The food was amazing and so comforting! Everything was perfect and the owner was very friendly, had a great chat and felt like home! Will definately be a frequent visit for me! I also ordered more to take home for the next day and the food was still amazing!
I’ve been wanting to try this place since it opened in Tooting and finally I did today, and I’m so glad I did. We had the best toasties I’ve ever tasted, and the cheese didn’t over power the taste of the steak and the chicken either. Love it and I’m going to be back soon. Great service and great food!

Went to this place with my brother last night on the recommendation of family in South Africa.
My brother ordered the chicken palony and I got the steak and cheese grilled sandwich.
What an amazing little spot to eat. Great value for money and the quality of food is up there with the best I’ve had. The food was simply amazing.
Moreover, the owner is equally as impressive. Had a good chat with him and he asked a very passionate about the food. Lovely guy - I wish him all the best in his venture. Hope to see more of the Jorburger brand popping up.
I’m not one to leave reviews everywhere I go - but I will when it’s exceptional. You need to go here guys - don’t miss out!
The number 6 on the menu, the steak toast ur was absolutely amazing, i could taste the magnificent flavours within the sandwhich. The steak was soft and tender, and it was filled with chips. This sandwich kept me full for hours. i recommend coming here with an empty stomach as it’s very filling!
