Hot Pot Caribbean

I try most Caribbean takeaways that I come across. Hot Pot is the best I've found in East London, and one of the best I've found anywhere in London - I'm lucky it's practically on my doorstep! I've been going regularly for quite a few years now, and I've never been disappointed. The jerk chicken is always fresh, and everything is always full of great flavour, including the rice and peas. The owner could charge much more for food of this quality, but he doesn't - a "small" curry goat is just £7, and despite being called small, it always creates a big pile on my plate that I sometimes struggle to finish. Highly recommended!

This is my 3rd order so far and i just cannot get enough. The flavours are indescribable :) So far i have tried the oxtail, curry chicken and fried chicken with either rice & peas or white rice and they have all been extremely delicious and very authentic. It tastes better than some meals i have had in Jamaica itself i.e Triple Century in Kingston. Customer service is also extremely good.

I Had the pleasure of having rice and peas, oxtails, jerk chicken and coleslaw for lunch today. The shop was nice and clean on entry and the staff were helpful and friendly. Everything was freshly prepared and the food tasted amazing . I'm Caribbean myself and this restaurant is TOP 10. Highly recommended. I will defiantly be back to try more dishes
