Quick, fast and tasty takeaway, lost a star as no condiments available I did go later in the evening but would have been good to still have some out to use before I left.

Haven't quite figured out how to enable self service... you order your food and pay for it... then collect it from the collection point... but uou don't collect your drinks from collection point, go somewhere else... not sure this is a seamless process... see so many folks asking the same Qs... Where's my drink...

Quick bite of sushi on the way. Chose Salmon full house and it was well worth it. Just enough to get the afternoon going.

Decent prices, good place to sit, you can get boxes with sushi, gyozas, soybeans. There is also Miso soup serving and other hot dishes. More like a fast food, but good tasting and great for a quick lunch.

Of all the places we ate in London, we loved itsu the most and was right below our airbnb!

One thing I can say never changes at Itsu is the attitude of the staff. Its such a welcoming chain, everyone is polite and smiling. The food is alwayd good but it's not cheap for what it is, especially the sushi boxes.

Good place. The food is good. The place is clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. I've been to this specific location multiple times. It's always pretty good.

Delicious, if not always authentic, lunch box sushi, sashimi and salad. Very fresh; my particular favourite is salmon done three ways (sashimi, salmon/avocado maki, nigiri) for £8; not cheap but excellent for a treat, healthy lunch. Plenty of great snacks, including wasabi peas and they also sell frozen yoghurt here. Most people take away but there are seats for perhaps 20, although it's pretty noisy.

A big thank you to Dinaben Babubhai Makwana for making me aware of the half price sale at Itsu before closing. Most branches start their sales 30 minutes prior to closing, but the Shoreditch branch on Great Eastern Street starts their sale at 20:00 when they actually close at 21:00. Of course, there is better sushi to be had in London if you want to seek it out, but the closing sale of takeaway boxes is perfect for a night you have stayed late in the office and are consequently too tired to cook.<br/><br/>The hubby arrived at 20:00 sharp on a Wednesday evening (while I was still stuck in the office) and was surprised to find there were 15 people in the queue in front of him. Nonetheless, with two efficient cashiers working, he was back out on the street with his purchases exactly eight minutes later. By that time a queue of 20 had formed behind him. Arriving right at the start of the sale meant that the full range of boxes was still available.<br/><br/>I arrived home to find a huge takeaway feast that only set us back £12.50. This comprised of edamame pods, Super Salmon 3 ways (sashimi, nigiri & maki), salmon & avocado maki, California roll maki, vegetable gyoza, and a salad box called hip and humble. The last salad item had a delicious and unusual green dressing. A sort of coriander based salsa verde that had been thinned down with sweetened vinegar.

My favourite sushi place, which I go to at least once a week and I always end up picking "super salmon 3 ways", which costs £7.99 and is great for lunch. Everything is freshly made on the day and of good quality. The place itself has a very relaxed atmosphere, with a lot of business people coming in during lunch time, because it is located in the business district. I would definitely recommend it as it also saves time since you don't have to wait for your food to be served.

Be warned all vegetarians! <br/>I've got a piece of meat in my vegetarian pot of noodle soup twice at this itsu. I'm disgusted and very angry that this happened to me, especially after telling them both times that I am a vegetarian so they make sure they put 'vegetarian' broth in my soup. I have never eaten or touched meat in my life and I'm still feeling sick knowing that I had soup which had a piece of duck floating in it.
