That local place where there are always queues and the guy behind the counter knows everyone and their preferences. Fresh and simple food. Always very quick so great takeaway for breakfast or lunch. Prices are very reasonable

Hands down the BEST sandwich I have had in London! The staff are generous with their portions and the service is incredible. WHAT A HIDDEN GEM! I recommend trying the Mexican Chicken or Chicken Escalope with your own additional fillings and sauces. If you're on a health kick, they do protein loaded salad boxes too

For around two years, I've been frequenting this hidden gem for lunch, and it never disappoints! Not only are the portions generous, but the prices are also incredibly reasonable. What truly sets this sandwich shop apart, though, are the two wonderful servers. Their warmth and friendliness make every visit feel like catching up with old friends. By far the best cafe in London. Food is always fresh and served with a smile. You can’t help but smile whenever your server by the guys at Doorstep their always so kind and polite! If you want good food that’s consistently good for an outstanding price, this is your place.

Great staff and great food. Come here often and always talk to the staff enjoying very reliable bite during lunch. Inexpensive pricing so easy on the wallet, but definitely worth while to stop on by!

MUST TRY! By far, the tastiest homemade sandwich’s and friendliest, most welcoming service in West London.
Since I started my new job 6 months ago, I have eaten lunch at nearly every restaurant in Hammersmith. Now I eat work lunch at Doorsteps everyday as their food and service is unrivalled.
P.S. excellent prices for London, I am a broke post-graduate.

Super friendly staff and the sandwiches are excellent! The workers are always happy to have conversation which makes you feel very welcomed. Try any of the hot sandwiches and I promise you wont be disappointed.

The 2 guys running the shop make fantastic sandwiches. Made fresh to order in front of you with in house baked breads. You can taste the freshness of all ingredients. At this point I’ve tried every sandwich on their menu.
The shop is always packed with regular customers.
