This place never disappoints!! The food is awesome, and it is our go to place when we are in a small group or we feel like having a delicious stake! And it is definitely the best value for money! Highly recommended!

If you are a fan of tasty meat, this is definitely a place for you. Nice Argentinian style interior, portions serced from authentic flank. It's also worth of mentioning that they have nice collections of wine's as well and the price level us decent.

It's on the pricey side but their food is the closest to Argentina that I've eaten so far. The empanadas are delicious! The music is definitely not from Argentina though haha

This basement restaurant is a hidden gem! The service for dinner was excellent. The food was superb. my steak was cooked perfectly. I had the bife angosto and the red wine sangria. I would recommend both to anyone.

I made a reservation online a couple of days before attendance. We stayed in the double tree Hilton, Kensington which I have also reviewed. On arrival we were welcomed and shown to our table right in the middle of the room which was a great confidence boost. The friendly waiter gave us a recommendation of champagne and steak. We chose to go with his recommendation as we had never been before and what a choice that was. Beautiful bits of Argentinian steak and a great tasting champagne to complement. Definitely consider what they point out. Although a little expensive the restaurant has a great atmosphere, extremely friendly and helpful staff and above anything else the food was amazing.

El Gaucho, is a great alternative to its overpriced counterparts (Gaucho + other specialty steak houses) great steak and they are decent portions for a fraction of the price of the above mentioned. I have been a few times and the taste has been consistent and what I expect.
They also have a good wine menu and their service is friendly although it can be a bit slow at times.
All in all a good steak house for a decent size and price.

Went together with a few friends to celebrate a birthday. Place was quite empty which meant it was easy to speak to each other. Service was there but they didn't seem to put any extra effort in, just do their job. The food was good and despite my piece of meat being rather flatted out they had managed to cook it medium rare at where possible. Decent experience overall but nothing that stood out to other steak places.

Eaten here twice now and both times I have thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Argentinian dining experience. The steaks are brilliant as are the starters, sides and desserts. The service at this restaurant is also great and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. If you've not tried it I would recommend it (although you may have to book ahead as it has been busy both times that I went).
