Woofie had a great time meeting new doggies, food was fabulous and thank you to all the staff who did a great job with all our pooches around them...lol. thoroughly recommended the experience if you have a doggy .
Ollie, Molly Matilda & I had a fantastic time..can't wait til next time x
A very pleasant evening, with excellent steaks and good wine! The sides were over priced and did not really add anything to the meal. The service was good but not worthy of the 12.5 % service charge which amounted to almost £80.00. We were a party of 6. I know this is central London but I believe this to be excessive.
Too dark to take pics but I had yet another amazing steak here. We went to this one because they do cigars. We got the rib eye sharing steak with a chilli glaze, mushroom sauce, green beans, spinach, mash and chunky chips. All I can say is that I was in heaven!! Everything was cooked to perfection and when we wanted to try the cigar we got two advisors and a free sample of the matching alcohol. The garden was so lovely and cosy with a fire, blankets, hot water bottle and heaters so they are more then prepared for the winter. And I even thoroughly enjoyed the cigar aswell!
OMG. One of the BEST steak in london! I had ribeye (medium rare)... it was heavenly... serve plain on dish.. but overall juicy, tasty, .. amazing! Would def go there again!!!
:)
Now tht was a steak. Goin back definatley.
The last time I went to Gaucho it was with my boss. I don't remember much of the meal as he plied me with red wine and port and I had to stumble back into the office for a meeting that I slurred my way through. Today was a more sober affair. The Gaucho do
I Love this place. The scenery is quite calm and relaxing. It's classy and fancy, and it's the right place for a romantic date. The servers were fantastic adding to the sophistication of the night.
They have a great selection of meat, probably due to the fact that it is an Argentinian restaurant. If you are a bit overwhelmed, they are more than happy to bring out a platter of selections to let you know what you can order. They also have a great wine selection to go with your meal to make it very well rounded.
This place has not disappointed me on both the occasion I have dined there and it is sure not to disappoint you.
Ambiance: The setting is really good, great for all occasions as you will find businessmen, families and romantic couples. As you can see in the pictures posted on the top of this page, the setting is quite modern and clean.
Service: The service here was also really good, very sophisticated staffers, that were very willing to help wherever they could.
Food/Drink: Of course I went to this Argentinean restaurant for the steak, and it was delicious. I did not know what kind to go for, so the waiter brought over the tray with all of their meats and explained each one. Quite frankly, you can't go wrong with any of them! The meat was so flavourful, and had the best texture.
Value: It is however quite expensive, and this is what begs me to question whether I will go back. But for that one time, it was a really nice choice of restaurant because the steak really was delicious.
Would I go back?: As I previously mentioned, I'm not sure I would because of the price of the meal. It was however really good, and if you are looking for a highend restaurant with great steak, then I do recommend this.
Greeted at the door by a selection of Gaucho's smiliest employees, you are instantly made to feel important in the glitzy interior of London's favourite steak-churning chain. The first stage and a true highlight of the Gaucho experience is the introduction to the different cuts of meat that the restaurant offers. This includes a viewing of each cut, and an explanation as to how the anatomical composition of the eastern-Argentinian cows grazing on 19 different species of Las Pampas grass affects the taste and texture of each.
Naturally, the second stage is the food and drink itself. We sipped on our delicious strawberry and elderflower martini 'special' cocktails before tucking into a shared starter - the extremely tasty Sausage Platter. The mains soon followed. I had ordered a 400g rare fillet steak that, had it been on the menu, would have fallen somewhere between the Bife de Lomo and the Chateaubriand. I was assured that I would be "able to cut it with a spoon"- an audacious claim but not drastically inaccurate. With this, I picked at thyme-finished Chips and Spring Greens that were also brilliantly cooked. Finally, I sampled the Dulce De Leche Profiteroles and the 'special' chocolate meringue cake for dessert, which, as I day-dream about what I am to cook for my lunch, have my mouth watering even now.
I was there for a saturday evening dinner for three - peak time - yet the service was little less than exceptional, despite (or perhaps helped by) the fact that the waitress verbally contracted to serve our table claimed to have only very recently been hired. A little management-led kerfuffle over our table towards the end was made up for by the gift of a glass of dessert wine each, a touch that rounded off an excellent evening at this meat-lovers paradise.
Gaucho imports it's beef from Argentina therefore you can only imagine how good the steak is! It's definitely pricey but totally worth it if you're a steak lover!
Really would recommend Sunday Roast at Gaucho - not only for the quality of the food but also the fantastic service from our host Victoria who was polite, super attentive and very professional.
Special mention to Chris the manager too who is passionate about service and exceeding customer expectations. We will be back soon !!
We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was elegant, the service was attentive, and the food was prepared with utmost care. Highly recommended.
Even though the service was a bit slow, the food was great. I ate the Wagyu Burger, and it was so juicy and absolutely delicious. Also, the french fries are excellent. Some of the best I have ever eaten. The prices are reasonable (25£ for my burger menu) and the portion sizes as well. you get well saturated after one dish. I totally recommend this restaurant.
We had a fabulous meal here. The steak was perfectly cooked and we loved the wine and dessert.
Highly recommended.
The service was great from start to finish and our waitress Angi was very attentive and made our visit special. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.
We went here for my cousins surprise birthday dinner and we definitely had a good time.
The empanadas were really good, the only let down is that it had a lot of onions and I don’t like onions but I still wanted more.
The steak was immaculate, Gaucho steak never lets me down. The wine collection was extensive and impressive, for the price point.
My only issue was that the service was a little slow and we waited a while for the food, but the waiters were friendly.

Amazing food and great service! Was really good atmosphere! I recommend to book a table rather than walk in. The only reason why I don’t give 5* was because I didn’t like much the hosting.. We had mine and my husband’s birthday dinner, we walked in and they told us that wasn’t any table available this was on valentines night and we completely understood, they invited us to sit on the terrace.. and after few minutes they found a table that was available for 3hours which I found more than enough time frame to have a dinner.. Anyways, All gauchos are amazing and the food always 10/10 ! We had a great time and definitely coming back soon as is the closest we have around home! ✨
Just excellent all around! Food and meat fabulous . It was my partner s birthday and they did not forget a little cake and candle. Great service.
Pretty perfect steak restaurant. It's a bit pricey, but the steak is pretty top notch, and the service was flawless.
It's one of those places which is very comfortable and very dark inside.
The waiter was happy to show the range of uncooked steaks before we chose.
We had a sirloin, a ribeye, and two burgers with a few sides - which with a couple of glasses of wine and soft drinks came to nearly £200.
Extremely satisfying, though!
Excellent service from Sinzi. She really went above and beyond! Visited for a birthday meal and enjoyed the elegant restaurant atmosphere. Delicious starters, steaks, desserts and drinks. Highly recommend the Banana Bouche and El Nino cocktails. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
I always enjoy going here. The steaks are lovely, always cooked with care, and there are some excellent starters here too (try the scallops). They also have a well stocked bar and so any cocktails you might fancy should be available. All in all a great place to have dinner.
