Lovely pizzas and exciting vibe. We were properly welcomed and the pizzas came pretty fast to our table.
The dough is also really good and tasty. The main ingredients are fresh and conjugate perfectly with each other.

A long time pizza express fan, a friend of mine recently shamed me and told me that the Franco Manca pizza chain was far far better. So, last night I made my way over to the Battersea location to see what all the fuss was.
1. Be ready to queue. I don't know why the British enjoy a queue as much as they do, but always drives me crazy. Thankfully, if you get to FM after 8:30, you should be ok. We only waited 5/10 minutes.
2. The restaurant is not huge and you do get close to your neighboring table. Despite this, it is a good place for a date or a small (emphasis on small) group of friends.
3. Sourdough pizza is OFF THE HOOK! I may never have another pizza dough again in my life. Ingredients are fresh and everything is super tasty. Also, nice sizes.
4. They need to drastically improve their house white and house red. #whitewhine
All in all, a super contender for best pizza chain in London.
The pizza here is great value, generous in portion and very authentic too. The side salads are nice as well. My only complaint would be the aesthetics ; so cramped you either have to share a table with a screaming child you don't know or you get your own table which is constantly being bumped by rushing waiting staff. That could really do with improvement
Best pizza place around. Only didnt give it 5 stars as its tough to imagine how to get a large group in there, which is frustrating. And they dont deliver or use deliveroo.But what it does, it does very well. Best pizza in town, fast service, very accurate waiting times and amazingly fast considering.Nothing super fancy but nor are the prices.Definitely the place to go for pizza, no question.
Great ambiance and fantastic food even the salad was delicious the place is always packed and service super fast I will definitely be returning as so many ingredients are organically sourced even the wines.

Great pizza, value, and excellent staff.. I just copied an email I sent to Franco Manca, Northcote Road;
Just wanted to say that we recently ate at your Northcote Road branch, twice in fact, while some really good friends from Canada were over. They found you on the internet, and requested that we specifically take them to Franco Manca.
We all loved it. The first time we came you were very busy, and we had to wait outside for 15 minutes. The manager took drinks orders from us, and was very charming, so the wait didn’t seem long.
The food was very good, and very reasonably priced, and we came again a week later. The waitress recognised my Canadian friend, and she was again – super charming. This is what people want from the hospitality business – hospitality. It amazes me that some people just do not get this.
When the pizzas arrived, my rather tired husband shook parmisan cheese over his pizza, and a waiter quickly appeared to ask him to let him change his pizza – it was actually sugar that my husband had used. The fact that we didn’t even have to ask for it to be changed, and after all – it was our mistake was amazing, and it ensured not only that we will come again, a lot, but that I’m spending ten minutes writing
to you, a copy of which I will put on ‘Urbanspoon’.

I’m sure you know about Franco Manca. The place is one of the top pizzerias in London. Authentic Neapolitan style pizza. I still remember the days when you had to queue in Brixton to get a table for the slow rising sourdough pizza. Well those days might be over as the Manca’s empire is expanding, 4 locations in London, the original in Brixton Market, one in Westfield in Stratford, another one in Chiswick, and finally one in Northcote nearby Clapham Junction
It's all about the pizza and they are great pizzas! Service was decent, but please get some decent wine glasses, I don't care how edgy you're trying to be wine shouldn't be served in a tumbler!

Fresh dough, soft anf chewy with great toppings. I had wild broccoli, chorizo? Olives and sundried tomatoes. Everything about the pizza is perfect. Service was ok but a little slow.
Every time I walk down Northcote Road it seems yet another boutique selling niche items only the yummy mummies that parade it's pavements can afford has opened. Luckily in between the trendy pram shops are a good few eateries and watering holes. Franco Manca is one of these venues.
Whilst it's annoying that you can't book, if you go outside normal eating hours you can be seated relatively easily, but either way it's worth any wait. It's charm is its simple and extraordinarily cheap menu of sour dough based pizzas. For £7 you can have one the best pizzas going, compromising neither on quality or size. Brilliant value. Just go.
Went for dinner on a Saturday with no booking. We were able to get seated without waiting!
They have a good selection of pizzas and tasty sourdough😋

First of all, I just want to say the service at this Franco Manca is phenomenal, specifically from a waitress named Paige, and my partner and I really felt at ease as soon as we sat down and all throughout our dinner.
The food itself was good but not overly special and slightly expensive, especially the entrees.
The decoration is very nice and tasteful and the lighting is just perfect !
All and all a very good pizza place that stands out thanks to its staff, would definitely recommend for pizza but not for their “bites” which are very expensive for not much. Personal rating (6.5/10) but bumped up to a 7.5 by the staff.
We went there with our lively preschoolers. The lady that served us - Paige - was kind, attentative, and really professional. She was serving all tables, attending to orders for home delivery and sorting bills. She was working extra hard and with a big smile on her face. Thanks for attending to us this afternoon Paige . We had a great time and loved the pizza!

I would like to say that my time at Franco Manco would not have been the same if I hadn’t met my wonderful waitress Lucy. What a gem. After an initial water scare, I was genuinely blown away by her personalbility and genuine love for her job. It’s rare that one meets an Edgar Allen Poe enthusiast working the late shift. A truly fantastic restaurant that has a wonderful taste in employees. 👏🏼

I've recently returned from Italy and have to say I missed Franco Manca's veggie and vegan pizzas. I think they're the best in London, this one in particular does a mean veggie special. Just yum!!!
Had a great and fantastic evening today, with great, tasty food, service and the Manager was very Friendly and helpful. HAD not visited this branch for a long time. We we will now surely b back soon.
Camelia was such a great server, really looked after me and my disabled son. Honestly can't thank her enough. If your ever if Clapham please come here, the food is pleasant for the price and the service is top notch.
