Fab service best mint tea & deserts!
A good first time experience at Nino's. Very friendly staff but not enough servers for a busy evening. We were going to order dessert but it just took too long. The food is good, portions on the smaller side and designed to go with starters and dessert for a full meal experience.
It is a small place so we ended up being seated so close to the party next to us. Staff are polite and friendly, prices ok for the quality.
Nino's is an exceptional local Italian restaurant. Everything is fine right here, the staff are always welcoming and friendly. The menu offerings look simple, but the preparation and execution of the meals is fantastic. Spaghetti Carbonara is the best I've had here. It is also always worth looking at the specials of the day, we often order our starters from it. The scallops we had last time were amazing.
Everything is reasonably priced here and definitely offers great value.
We're very fortunate to have such a great restaurant so close to us and already looking forward to our next meal there.
If you're in town, give this place a try. You may find yourself returning again when you crave Italian food.
Sunday 13th August Nino's hosted our group of 13 for a celebration lunch following the renewal of our wedding vows. We had a fantastic relaxed meal. Food and service were excellent. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant who have provided consistent welcoming service to friends & family for more than 5 years. They managed to accommodate our group around a single table setting even though since the initial booking our guest numbers grew from 11, to 12 and finally 13. Staff were very attentive and flexible. We were able to bring our own cake and incorporate this into the dessert service. Many thanks to the whole team!
Had a lovely birthday lunch with a friend. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely dine there again - we were very happy with the service, restaurant and food!

Had a birthday meal here recently and aside from a few hiccups with how well-done steaks were cooked (they promptly rectified this which was great), this is really nice place to eat with really cool waiters and lovely Italian cuisine. It's cosy and easy to find, but depending on the number of diners might be a little noisy. That just shows how popular it is. I would definitely come here again.
Good place for casual dinner. Appetisers were especially great. Calamari was thinly coated and very tender inside. Special croquette was also soft and tasty. For pasta, it seems they didn't put enough salt when boiling spaghetti so it lacks savory taste but sauce was still good. Veal for a main dish was a bit too dry. Overall, thanks to hospitable staff, I enjoyed dinner here.
Friendly and welcoming staff and a nice atmosphere. Quite busy for a Tuesday evening but service was still very efficient. An extremely enjoyable meal and we'll be very happy to dine there again!
Fantastic restaurant with great food! Selection is brilliant, and to top it off, the atmosphere is one of a kind, especially past 11 PM on Friday and Saturday nights! Great place! Highly recommend!
We decided to have a spur of the moment lunch but really couldn't come to an agreement about where. South Woodford has quite a few restaurants but we noticed Nino's in passing. A diner had just sat down outside and was having a chat with the staff. He said that it is a really nice restaurant and they have some really nice dishes.

Between the three of us we ordered the calamari starter, 2 Penne Arribiata's (to which we asked for chicken to be added - which was not an issue for the chef) the Gamberoni Ninos and a vegetable selection (plus a few drinks😉).
Decent portion sizes and really flavoursome dishes - it would be difficult for me to find fault!
We finished off with lemon and mango sorbets.
This was all accompanied by the very attentive staff but not in that 'in ya face' way that some restaurants seem to do.
All in all, a really enjoyable meal and we'll definitely be returning soon.
