Had a fantastic time here, the steaks were simply to die for and the service was excellent. Our waiter Cailem could not have been more attentive, The bar staff were great, in particular a barman named Bradley who could not have been more helpful. Overall me and my wife had a lovely time and will hope to return in the foreseeable future. Thanks guys, keep it up!
we went the one boxing Day after lunch,was so glad it was open,we went every where trying to find a pub,and we rembered this one ,yeah its opened,the staff was very friendley,and of a load more ppl came inn we stayed there for 4 hours we dont live far from custom house pub,so we dident have far to go,And .it was nice and warm,and a big open fire.

Needed to grab some food after checking into our hotel. Everything around the Excel centre was closed or really quiet at the time. However we saw some reviews on The Custom House Pub and thought we’d give it a try. On arrival it was also pretty quiet and a little tired looking. However the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was really good. We had the homemade pie and I have to say it was one of the nicest I’ve had. Would highly recommend that dish!
We came in for dinner on a Saturday afternoon in Feb 2020 after visiting the Excel centre. The Staff and service where amazing. Do NOT rate this pub from the appearance outside. The food was hot and tasty. The staff could not have been more helpful, welcoming or friendly, I truly believe this pub is not given the credit it deserves. A massive thank you to Abass and Sophia you are both a credit to this pub and we would definitely come back. The cleanliness of the pub was also exemplary the toilet also get 5 stars for cleanliness too. The pub also had a lovely fire burning too.

Nice food, nice place, staff could do with some manners as came across quite brash and rude.
Comfortable and friendly if a bit pricey. They serve food but unfortunately we didn't try any. Traditional menu. The bar does not accept cards but that is not a problem as there is a cash machine in the hotel you can walk to inside the building.

Friendly little pub and our go to stop when at MCM comic con in London. The staff are always lovely and helpful and there is a great atmosphere there, really enjoyed the last time we were there as they had an acoustic night on.
The bar is well stocked usually and toilets are always clean and staff are fast to respond when required.
Held a high profile fundraising event on March 2018. It was a great success thanks to the extraordinary work of the very professional staff who made a perfect job to cater for all our needs and requirements, took very good care of our guests and contributed to a very successful evening. The room looked impressive, the food was delicious and the portions very generous, and we got a very good value for money package, best deal in Newham for an event like this. Also very good connected as DLR is just on the doorstep and big parking in the premises. I would definitely organise another event there again, they have won my trust and respect.
A nice enough little place complete with a good amount of seating and a pool table. The only real downside is my dislike of 'London prices' which is unavailable. But as a visitor I can overlook this inconvenience for a nice drink after a days travel.
A nice little pub serving the Ibis Hotel and locals alike. Friendly staff and good quality pub grub. Not especially cheap but not overpriced either. Kid friendly with a decent and tasty kids food menu
What attracted me most about the place is the warm behaviour of the people running the pub. The service was prompt and reflected lot of hard work and care gone into every item served. I would recommend everyone to visit and give it a try..hopefully you will also have an enjoyable experience.
