Only got takeaway, long standing Cypriot restaurant with other local Cypriot businesses nearby. Foods as authentic as it comes and tastes great. Had the pork/lamb Souv, Macaroni and keftedes. All were good and very fair prices if you order there and collect.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Service is genuine and not fawning. Visited at lunchtime and the menu was limited, not all the 'Board' specials available, but still plenty to choose from.

Amazing food! πŸ‘ we took the set mix menΓΉ (fish 🐟 and meat πŸ–) i suggests that, the portion are generous and the service is very friendly. I didn't finish my food because we were already full with starters so they gave me the takeaway box to take food home.

Always a lovely, family welcome. Good Greek food. Never rushed to leave. Can be a little crowded, and a little noisy, but that’s in keeping with the culture :) A great place to have a birthday meal!

Absolutely superb. A friend had recommended Vrisaki telling me it was one of the best Greek or Cypriot restaurants going. How right he was; we ordered the set meal for two. Excellent and courteous service. Food was both plentiful and of fantastic quality. So much Also very reasonably priced. Will be coming again and recommending to others. A pleasure to meet the boss at the end when we gave our compliments to the waiter.

The food was good and plenty, the staff welcoming. The entrance is a bit weird since it looks like just a takeaway kebap place from the outside. Your clothes will smell of kitchen once you leave here but it was worth it. We were 6 people and ordered Mezedes. In the photo is the first course of 5. Pricing wise, very reasonable

Good food, friendly service. The size of my plate was ginormous next to the ones I`m used to at home. It was of great quality, though the lamb was kind of overcooked. Probably would visit again when I`m hell of hungry, because my stomach was very angry with me after all those delicious, big meals.

The food was amazing and well worth its value for money. I had the sea bream which was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this if you are in or Bounds Green.

Great food. I used to come here while ago when I lived near by but even living an hours drive away is a doddle when the food is this good. Standard quality and service. Double value for money!

Very good Greek food, I had a main course with a selection of meats (lamb, sausage etc). It was very tasty and gave a great Greek experience. For the quality of the meat and the portion size, this was very reasonably priced. Would recomment to all. See photo of my main

What a lovely restaurant!!! The food is amazing and there is a variety of dishes to choose from. The staff are very helpful, and they deliver good customer service. I have included photos of the menu as of May 2018. The food quality is 5* and it is reasonably priced. I hope you have a good time and if you like my reviews and photos, please click LIKE on my reviews!!! :) Enjoy

Absolutely amazing experience. Have been years ago and found it good then, but certain things not great. However on this occasion, the service and the food and the portion sizes were perfect. The staff were wonderful and friendly, but not over bearing. We were made to feel welcome and special. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fresh and tasty and an amazing range and selection. All the cold mezze were utterly delicious. The bread was warm and in great plenty. The fish course was fresh and delicious. The other courses were just perfectly pitched and not way too much food as we had seen in past visits. The desserts were just exactly what we wanted. We were 6 people including 3 kids, albeit one of them is a teenager. We ordered mezze for 4 and there was no problem with this. The food was the correct amount. Noone was left hungry but there wasn't tons left over either. Would highly recommend.

Awful. I'd have to say that over the years Vrisaki has gone down hill. My latest visit tonight resulted in over cooked meat on all 3 of our main courses.

What really makes it worse is that none of the meat was eaten and this fact was brought to the attention on the waiters who decided to take a sample to the so called chef, an overweight man with a pony tail. Needless to say he appeared seconds later bellowing in the background and not even addressing our concerns and walked from back to where he came ?? Very confusing. I suppose this is a Cypriot thing ?

Asked for the bill and surprise surprise we were charged the whole amount, that's right, no concerns whatsoever by the management for the over cooked, dry, chewy, leatherish pork with one concern on their mind "to take the money" !

Let me assure Vrisaki that's the last time they will be taking my money and probably if they continue anyone else's.

It's a bustling dining room behind a regular kebab joint, full of Greeks and Greek waiters, dressed up in ties and suits and generally making everything feel old-fashioned and no-nonsense. All four of us ordered the set meze, which at Β£38 for two people, promised an awful lot. And it largely delivered, with large being the operative syllable. The quantities of food at Vrisaki are staggering. Our starter platter included more dishes than I can remember, b

Any truly greedy person appreciates the sight of oodles of plates spread out on the table before them. One can convince oneself that one is merely pecking, when in fact one is consuming quantities that would put a sumo wrestler to shame. This is just layer number 1 of the first course of starters that you get at the simple Greek taverna, Vrisaki. Yes, another layer of plates is piled on top. And that's before you move on to the fish and meat courses. It's about quantity rather than quality, and all served up by a bevvy of heavily moustached waiters with leather vests, which adds to the charm. Another thing that makes me happy is baklava. Vrisaki's is good. Really good. But not nearly as good as TPG's Mum's or TPG's Yia Yia's. I know what side my bread is buttered on. (And it's true). Alot of dishes, not alot of food. For Mezethes, there was enough little dishes of lots of different things, BUT the main food there was not enough of. They try to fill you up with bread and side dishes, but for the price it is not enough of the main good stuff.

Vrisaki was recommended by my friend's Greek hairdresser. You know when the hairdressers are talking about it, the place is worth a visit. All the way up the Northern line in Haringey, you enter the restaurant through a tiny kebab store. Not in an underground-restaurant-hidden-behind-a-hot-dog-stand-New-York-way but in a, purely practical, no-more-room way. They need every table they have at Vrisaki as the restaurant books out on the basis of the vast quantities of food available for the set price of Β£36 for two people for the mezze. Most people don't seem to even bother opening the menu and just plump straight for what is essentially an all you can eat option plus some more. Perhaps the team of leather waist-coat clad, moustached elderly Greek male waiters are also part of the attraction. Cold mezze selections - note the amount of dishes on the table! MTV boyfriend and I ate at Vrisaki with Greedy Diva , London Foodie and their partners (it was London Foodie's hairdresser who gave us

Worth a visit. I went to Vrisaki with a few of my friends, the team leader of our care home unit and our house psychologist last year. The psychologist is half-Greek, so she spoke to the waiter and ordered our food in Greek. We had a selection of items from the menu such as moussaka, stuffed vine leaves, slow-roasted lamb, kebabs, tsatziki, houmous and bread. I liked all of those items, especially the moussaka and kebabs. The staff were very friendly and they even let one of my friends have a free Diet Coke after our meal.

Got a lamb shish kebab and some rice. Very nice and all very fresh. Unbeliveable amount of staff behind the grill. Next time I am going to try the fancier dishes like lamb cutlets, quail and fish. Will take the kids there early one evening and will try the mezze.

The only place that tastes of cyprus. I have been going here since i was a little girl, and now take my own children here. i love food (especially greek food), and i can safely say that this is the only place that transports me back to long lazy holidays in cyprus when i bite into a mix pitta. im dribbling just thinking about it. the meze is huge, the dips are delicious, the meat (cooked over charcol - makes all the difference) just lovely, tender and tasty. love it.

Vrisaki has alot of dishes with a small amount in each. As a Greek-Cypriot living in the area, skorpios has much nicer, homemade food from traditional recipies and the atmostphere is much nicer- not all squeezed together like sardines! vrisaki is overpriced and overcrowded as well as being overrated.

If you'd going to Vrasaki then remember not to eat for many hours before! The meze just keeps coming and coming!! Well worth the value and I doubt whether you get better back on the island. Every visit is a treat.

What a gastronomic treat Greek restaurant Vrisaki is! You enter through an ordinary kebab shop front, which is a bit off-putting if it's your first visit, but once you reach the back of the shop, you enter into a completely different world - a vast, buzzi
