Went to The Waves for a set lunch with a friend. We weren't disappointed. All the dishes were cooked fresh, good portions and very tasty. It's lovely to have a fish restaurant back at Southgate. Lunch was very reasonable too priced at £13 excluding drinks. We would definitely recommend and visit aga
What a lovely little restaurant, we had been looking for somewhere with good quality seafood... we went through a ton of restaurants and the reviews were awful. Stumbled across this place and honestly was the best decision we could have made. The food was outstanding, the staff were friendly and mad
The Waves is the perfect place to enjoy high-quality food and wine in a cosy environment for a reasonable price. Their wine list is broad with very interesting options. I had dinner there with friends and the chef (one of the owners) made sure that we were enjoying the food whereas. The other owner

Superb food particularly the seafood linguine which is bizarre when I live by the sea! Cheesecake was possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. The prices belied the quality of the food. Superb all round ; we will be back even if we have to travel from Devon to eat here!
Ate here for the first time this evening. Excellent food - fresh, tasty and very generous portions. Reasonably priced so great value for money. The waitresses were friendly, polite and attentive. Special thanks to Christina. Our go to local restaurant now.

The only negative for me was the quantity of salt in my seafood linguine - take it easy on the salt and I woul
