Lokhandwala - London - Photo album

Gorgeously decorated interior. Was nice for a quiet weekend lunch. Had the meze platter, the highlight of which was the addictive okra kurkuri, with a perfectly crispy texture and great taste. Also had the scallops, asparagus and prawns. Everything was tasty, though the prawns were not worth it at £
Beautiful food with vibrant colours full of flavour and not overly spicy in a characterful environment, with friendly staff - and great value for money. We enjoyed the delicate smoked chicken and beautifully sweet/yoghurty tikki chaat starters, followed by wonderfully delicate slow cooked lamb and a
Creative fusion food. Varied and tasty. Friendly service. In particular the potato skin cauliflower 'tacos' and the paneer & tomato tart were excellent. Keema yorkshire puddings were tasty and interesting but the mash potato they were served on were a bit pasty. Truffle fries also void of truffle. T
Excellent Indian food served tapas style. Really impressed with the presentation and taste of all the dishes. Particular highlight was the blue cheese naan bread. Will be visiting again.
Lokhandwala Indian restaurant in London is named after a notorious district in Mumbai, where Lady Charlotte Louisa Fitzrovia and her lover Vijay eloped to. This love affair has been transported to the pretty streets of Fitzrovia, less than a 10 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street
Indian-british style colonialism restaurant based in a mixed of tapas from both sides. The result is excellent although we left like something was missing. Great variety though of tapas.
A delightful new take on traditional North Indian cuisine! The tapas-style small plates are wonderfully creative - the flavors are familiar, but combined in innovatively delicious new ways. The sesame-crusted paneer was particularly toothsome. The lamb curry was perfect, with slivers of crunchy fres
Nice new place in the quieter end of Charlotte Street. Delicious lamb chops and very nice chicken chettinand. Vindaloo wasn't spicy at all though!
Such a hidden little gem with great athmospher and super good particular Indian tapas. Good wine selection and also some vegan options available. Service was just as geat.
I had a wonderful experience at Lokhandwala! We visited for a birthday and everything was perfect, from ambience to service and food. Tasty, creative and well-presented indian tapas. We loved the fact the they took some time to prepare us a special dessert for the occasion! Thank you - we will defin
The meals was very very delicious, the stuff was very kindly, very beautiful decoration, but the meals was little and the cola's bottle was 200 ml!!!!!! But it is worth visiting several times
Very tasty and a different twist to Indian food. Would definitely recommend
Customer service could be a bit more attentive, but they are knowledgeable about the food and they know what to suggest. Food was delicious and prices are fair.
We have been several times and the food is always amazing. Really interesting menu with lots of tapas based dishes as well as delicious main dishes. Cocktail are unusual yet divine. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Probably the best Indian restaurant I have been to.
Welcoming friendly staff. Beautiful decor to have a meal. Was quiet on a Sunday. Brunch was lovely, each dish was enjoyable, flavoured and presented well, with a twist on the traditional. Cocktails really good....great choice of drinks. Would have preferred the dishes served at a slower pace but oth
A very contemporary take on traditional Indian cuisine in an intimate, quirky setting. The cocktails are sublime and beautifully served - in birdcages and all manner of things! The small bar to the rear of the restaurant is a delightful place to wait for guests. Food was relatively small portions
Great food and cocktails. Beer selection was really poor an service was a bit slow.
