Gorgeously decorated interior. Was nice for a quiet weekend lunch. Had the meze platter, the highlight of which was the addictive okra kurkuri, with a perfectly crispy texture and great taste. Also had the scallops, asparagus and prawns. Everything was tasty, though the prawns were not worth it at £22 for only four - would not order again. Staff were friendly and efficient. It being tapas-style, you could order more or less depending on appetite, and there were lots of good vegetarian options to suit everyone. Would definitely go again.
Beautiful food with vibrant colours full of flavour and not overly spicy in a characterful environment, with friendly staff - and great value for money. We enjoyed the delicate smoked chicken and beautifully sweet/yoghurty tikki chaat starters, followed by wonderfully delicate slow cooked lamb and amazingly flavourful chicken makhani. Absolutely bowled over by the value for money at this place; I've had similar fare from a two Michelin plate restaurant which was triple the price.
Creative fusion food. Varied and tasty. Friendly service. In particular the potato skin cauliflower 'tacos' and the paneer & tomato tart were excellent. Keema yorkshire puddings were tasty and interesting but the mash potato they were served on were a bit pasty. Truffle fries also void of truffle. The achari asparagus was bold and punchy - another great dish.
Fairly expensive (£80 for two with a smoothie each). Enjoyable meal overall.
