One of the best pubs near regents park. Easy to get a table at on any day and has good food for a pub, not the traditional fish and chips. I would recommend the chocolate cake.

Good to relax. I work in one of the offices just round the corner and visit after work a fair bit. Has a traditional feel to the place, with good value drinks, and very friendly staff. Fully recommend this place if you find yourself in the area.

Its my local! I love it! Friendly and cosy. Good tapas downstairs or nice gastro-pub food in the restaurant upstairs. also cute cosy outdoor seats out the back.

For my main course I opted for the venison meatballs - struggling to get away from the fish option. With a big olive broth, this was an unusual course but again tasty. Not sure if I'd have it again but very generous sized balls, and the potatoes and olives made for a genuine 'meal' dish.

The Queen's Head and Artichoke is a delightful pub nestled away on the corner of Longford and Albany streets. The pub looks like a late Victorian pub, it offers a tapas menu, enticing for a longer visit. Dog friendly and a very happy go lucky atmosphere. The service is excellent and the beer is great too. Indeed, a fine offering of keg beers along with a couple of cask ales. A fine place indeed.

🚇 Great Portland Street 🍺 £6.70 Estrella ❤️ Victorian charm meets tantalising tapas. . The Queens Head & Artichoke is located at the end of a Victorian terrace near the south east corner of Regents Park. The nearest Tube is Great Portland Street which is a few minutes walk away. . When Regent's Park was created, several Inns were demolished including the Queens Head. It re-located to this spot in 1811 and the name was extended to the Queen's Head & Artichoke by 1825. The pub was re-built in its present form in 1900. . The decor here is full of old world charm with some stunning features, most notably the beautiful servery. The walls are clad in Georgian panelling and there is a striking fireplace with yellow glazed tiles. There is plenty of seating which is great but disappointingly it is not in keeping with the rest of the boozer. Another impressive feature is the tall rolled glass windows which bathe the pub with light. . The beer selection was decent and included two cask ales, my Son & I both had pints of Estrella, our pints were great if a little pricey. The food comes in the form of Tapas, there is a broad selection of dishes to choose from which all cost around £11. As we were both a bit peckish we ordered five dishes consisting of prawns, octopus, croquettes , chorizo and lamb skewers. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed it, we were both muttering “mmm” and nodding at each other for about ten minutes. . We arrived around 9.30pm on a Saturday evening and received a warm welcome by who seemed to be the Guv’nor. The atmosphere was chilled and relaxed with the majority of punters outside enjoying a warm summer evening. I must mention the service both ordering drinks and the lady who served our food, everyone was so attentive and personable. . The @theartichoke was a superb visit for many reasons. I loved the decor and the Victorian ambiance. The beer was decent and loved the food. The service was great which immediately made you feel comfortable. This is a must visit London Pub. 🍻 . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 23.06.23

I was in the area and needed somewhere to eat. I walked in here and it was very quiet (14:30 on a Saturday). The staff were very attentive though and welcomed me in. Good selection of food on the menu, and what I ordered came quickly and was tasty. It get get busier a bit later, by the time I'd left.

Nice little pub with decent food. Very homey feel with lots of cushions and easy relaxed seating. Round of drinks was Hobgoblin, San Miguel and a Berries & Cherries Old Mout cider (cost was just under £19). Heard popping of some kind of fizzy whilst there too.

Four of us had a lovely reunion lunch at this pub. The interior is just what you want to see - airy and modern yet retaining the feel of a Victorian pub. The food was very interesting - something for everyone. And the portions are the right size to share among four. There's a good selection of wine and wine. The service was attentive and friendly - we never felt rushed.

Traditional victorian pub with well presented interior. Plenty of seating for grabbing a drink or having a meal. Very interesting Mediterranean food selection. Two beers available on cask and a reasonable wine selection. Piano in the corner if anyone would like to tickle the ivories.

A gem in central London. Open again after an 18 month renovation, we love this place. Great food, good service and a wonderful place to spend a sunday afternoon, following a walk in Regents Park. Dog friendly too. Great for a roast or a selection of sharing plates. Our pick was the oyster mushrooms.

Really nice traditional London pub, perfect for a post-work gin and tonic. The staff and atmosphere are great but it’s a bit cramped due to being a small premises, hence four stars. Will definitely be going back though.

Once again they smash it out of the park. Just had the Sunday roast and it was Fab. Just went here again last night and hands down it has to have some of the best pub food in London (i don’t know how anyone eats at any of the chain pubs). This place just gets better. They have added a lot of the small plates menu. Definately worth a visit. When you want a pub meal thats not your ordinary pub meal and takes it to the next level with their menu. Also well designed interior with a great beer and wine selection. A must visit when in the area.
