Queen's Head & Artichoke - London - Photo album

The Queen's Head and Artichoke is a delightful pub nestled away on the corner of Longford and Albany streets. The pub looks like a late Victorian pub, it offers a tapas menu, enticing for a longer visit. Dog friendly and a very happy go lucky atmosphere. The service is excellent and the beer is grea

I was in the area and needed somewhere to eat. I walked in here and it was very quiet (14:30 on a Saturday). The staff were very attentive though and welcomed me in. Good selection of food on the menu, and what I ordered came quickly and was tasty. It get get busier a bit later, by the time I'd left
Nice little pub with decent food. Very homey feel with lots of cushions and easy relaxed seating. Round of drinks was Hobgoblin, San Miguel and a Berries & Cherries Old Mout cider (cost was just under £19). Heard popping of some kind of fizzy whilst there too.
Four of us had a lovely reunion lunch at this pub. The interior is just what you want to see - airy and modern yet retaining the feel of a Victorian pub. The food was very interesting - something for everyone. And the portions are the right size to share among four. There's a good selection of wine
Traditional victorian pub with well presented interior. Plenty of seating for grabbing a drink or having a meal. Very interesting Mediterranean food selection. Two beers available on cask and a reasonable wine selection. Piano in the corner if anyone would like to tickle the ivories.
A gem in central London. Open again after an 18 month renovation, we love this place. Great food, good service and a wonderful place to spend a sunday afternoon, following a walk in Regents Park. Dog friendly too. Great for a roast or a selection of sharing plates. Our pick was the oyster mushrooms.
Really nice traditional London pub, perfect for a post-work gin and tonic. The staff and atmosphere are great but it’s a bit cramped due to being a small premises, hence four stars. Will definitely be going back though.
Once again they smash it out of the park. Just had the Sunday roast and it was Fab. Just went here again last night and hands down it has to have some of the best pub food in London (i don’t know how anyone eats at any of the chain pubs). This place just gets better. They have added a lot of the sma
Nice Bar .lovely mix of a old fashioned London pub ,with a little modern decor. Pleasant
Had the loveliest time on Sunday. The staff are very nice and helpful and the feel of the pub is amazing. Big windows, lots of day light and also with seating outdoors. All in all a great new place I will visit more frequently from now on 💖
Nice pub with exceptionell food. Mediterrenean starters are very well executed. We had the trio of dips, goats cheese and beets, fish croquettes and stuffed vine leaves, all were good but the vine leaves were superb. Mains menu changes frequently. We ate there twice over the course of a week and fou
Very nice bar, We had a few Spanish lagers very good after a long day! Then you have to eat! Food great and fabulous. Staff! They have a beautiful Piano, I can't play, wish I could! Really a great find!
Classic pub, dog friendly with a lovely staff and a cosy interior
Staff are nice, food took over 45 mins which wasn't ideal. Also ordered the Greek Sausage meal (£11+) and replaced the new potatoes with chips....the photo is what i got ;-) i did wonder where the colouring book and crayons were
Lovely pub with great tapas menu. Busy with city types of an evening, but you can book a table ahead of time.
