Excellent value lunch, wonderful quality and very friendly and courteous staff. I've tried all 3 Japanese places in North Finchley and this had the best service and value. The gyoza are clearly handmade and the fillings are delicious. Only the rice was not quite right, not plump sticky sushi rice and some of the sushi didn't hold well. The freshness of the sashimi was amazing and they have some wonderful pickles and donburi dishes. Would try the tempura next time.

On Monday we went for lunch at 12.30 and soon the restaurant became full. We ordered big portion of deep fried food and tempura for starter. For mains fuji spicy chicken donburi, and chicken and salmon teriyaki combo donburi, which were massive, that we had serious difficulty to finish.
But most of all the food was very tasty, colourful and shiny makes you whet your appetite. And with food comes miso soup.
We ended up with bill only 41.50£ for two. We definitely recommend this restaurant and be back when in neighbourhood.
Pretty decor, staff were wearing traditional attire and you could see the chefs hand rolling the sushi.

I was going to have dinner in Brent X Shopping Centre but their choices were slacking so I decided to hit up this place about a 15 minute drive from Brent X. Menu is extensive and they offer most Japanese staples. Very well priced for the portion size, and the Sushi master is very professional. Will deffo visit again since the food was above average. They refill the Japanese Green tea, so well worth picking that. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare around the area but you'll only ever be a 5 min walk away, if going after 5pm.
First time here, and was very pleased with the whole dinning experience. Lovely staff who was so friendly. Food was to my taste and cooked very well. Was with a party of 4 who also enjoyed. If you like Japanese and are in the area definitely give this place a go you won't be disappointed. Prices was reasonable, and will definitely try this again in the future. Thank you nippon izakaya
We found a good Groupon deal for the 60 pieces so decided to give it a go. The sashimi was lovely and fresh, and sushi was very tasty but I would have preferred a larger variety. Great service and they made sure our hot tea cups were never empty :)
Food is always delicious and the environment is very nice. The sushi is fantastic but the hot food is also just as good. Dragon roll is my favourite and I love the chicken and egg donburi!

We were a group of 5 who came in for lunch, two had tonkotsu ramen, one had chicken katsu, and two had sushi. All the food was lovely and everyone was full by the end, the portions are a good size and the prices are also really affordable.
The service was also very good and the staff were attentive, filling up waters without needing to be asked and answering our questions about the menu.

The sashimi and sushi are fresh and delicious. I recommend sashimi, really lovely. Personally I found sea bass and tuna are the best
Sushi is yummy, even the veg one. Among the five flavours, I enjoy the salmon skins the most

Very fresh sushi, tasted delicious! Service was friendly throughout our meal. Have gone back many times and it is one of my local favourites!
