Express Fish Bar

We bought our first taste of cod and chips here last week and I must say that the cod was nice and crispy and not oily at all! For a small portion of cod with chips is £10 but seeing as we were buying for two, we got one small cod each with medium chips (to take away) which in total cost £19 so really and truly we saved a £1. Very quick service and friendly and smiley staff! They even say hello when entering! :) I took a little magnet home with me as well! :) It may be expensive but definitely tasty and well worth the money! Lovely jubbly! We will be back! :)

I have been here twice now and it is fantastic! The Chips and Burgers are so yummy! great value for money for their small cod with chips 9.5 quids, good vibe nice service and friendly staff. ps. I used salt and vinegar for my chips, maybe it's different if you use other causes ps2. they got picked onion and picked egg in their menu which should goes well with the fish and chips ps3. Their fired chicken may not be as good since fish is their specialty.

The Fish n chips are great! My boyfriend and I got the cod small and small chips each, plenty of food for one person! Not greasy at all and does not make you feel nasty. We even swung by again because the price is good for what you get and it is delish! Couldn’t beat it elsewhere. The gentlemen that run this place are very polite and give great service, one lad even recognized us from the first visit! Saying hello from Dallas, TX!

The best Fish and Chips in London! 100% good value for money. Huge portions of freshly fried fish and chips. I typically order a large portion and x2 people can happily share. The fish is perfectly fried and doesn't not feel heavy/oily. Mushy peas and curry sauce arey favourite extras; they have also recently added mouthwatering fried halloumi to the menu, which I totally recommend! The team is always very kind and friendly, which is always a plus. A couple of times I've called in to ensure they still had fish just before they closed, and they kept a portion on the side for me to collect at the very last minute. I have never eaten there as I usually order to take home, but there are a couple of clean and tidy tables available. In short - the best place for an express and juicy takeout in the area!

This is your best shot at the Surrey Quays when you craving fish and chunky chips or fried chicken. This is a local family owned business that is here for several years. Owners are friendly and they will provide you with excellent service. You can dine in or takeaway. The portions are the proper size. Try large fresh cod. Highly recommended. There is a parking spot at the front of the shop for a few minutes.
