I have gone for dinner to the Bald Faced Stag for years and always come back. It’s maintained an excellent standard for good food with a changing, adventurous and delicious menu. Staff are always very friendly - we have never had a bad experience. A bonus on our last visit: live guitar and singing

Came in for 'light' lunch and ended up over ordering for myself :/ Was it worth being uncomfortably full for the rest of the afternoon? Yes, absolutely! The buffallo wings, smoked mackerel rillette and devilled whitebait were all great and got devoured in minutes. I was told that they recently released this menu. Look forward to returning and trying the rest of the dishes.

Good little gastro pub in each Finchley, haven't tried the food this time around as was a flying visit.
