Amazing food, whimsical decor and even better friendly staff. Came all the way from Pakistan to try your chicken waffles.... Although I had to dance for 30 seconds on 'MOVES LIKE JAGGER' but it was so worth it. Keep up the good work!

Burger looks luscious, patty is a little dry, but made up by the shredded beef. Mac&cheese is a good compliment. Overwhelms all taste of the salad. Toasted brioche was perfect.

Chicken & waffle tastes good, but although the portion is massive, the waffle is too much for the chicken - slightly smaller waffle or more chicken would be best. Also original amount of syrup not enough, had to ask for more (they are very helpful like that)

Huge tasty portions & very friendly staff. We ordered far more than we should have just to try. Highlight for me was the Harlem Soul fries topped with brisket & mac n cheese. Hubbie loved the soft shell crab & chicken with waffles. We also had Pepsis with cherry syrup & whole cherries at the bottom.
Round the corner from my house which is a bonus. The staff and the owner are very accommodating. They have the best chicken burgers I have every had. The meat is so juicy and seasoned well tastes even better the next day. The mac and cheese balls are fantastic, they are creamy but not oily. My friend had the bbq wings, which did lack a bit of flavour, the bbq sauce needs to be thicker so it can hold on to the wing more. The popcorn shrimps are good, the amount you get for the price is really good. They also have very good prosecco.
We tried Prawn and crab tacos. Oh so good 😍😍 I also tried their lager. It wasn't a big deal so skip that if you like and try the bottled ones. We went in the afternoon and the place had chill vibes.
The staff is super friendly. I would go back here for the food, for the quirky Graffiti in their walls, the good vibes!

Nice atmosphere and music, plus very friendly service. Not too crowded either. I tried the soft shell crab and the chicken strips. The seasoning didn't quite do it for me on either, but they were well-cooked. Not quite right for my taste palette, but I think others might enjoy it. Worth a try if you're in the area.

Replacing "Boondocks", Bea Vo's new venture, Harlem Soul, brings the delicious flavours of NYC to Old Street.
Chorizo balls, Mac& Cheese bites, buttermilk chicken strips, chicken burger, grilled steak tacos...just a selection of the best dishes we tasted and were not disappointed; great flavours!
A sweet waffle to finish the perfect experience.
The team looking after us was amazing, showing great customer skills and a desire to do a job well - hats off to them; they were just excellent!

Lovey vibrant place, party/music downstairs was too loud, food came quite late due to being really busy. However, the serviced received from their staff especially our server Kevin was just superb, looked after us during whole time despite the issues with food lateness he kept us in good moods, defo coming back.

Food was super filling even for me. The waitress was really lovely and gave great customer service. I see other reviews complaining about slow service but she and the manager were the only ones waiting tables and were doing a pretty good damn job at it. Haven't tried the Mac and cheese yet! But the Mac and cheese bites were 👌🏽and those nachos were also really loaded and hella good. Will defo visit when j get a chance to again! Thanks for the awesome service and food!
Little gem, food was tasty but the staff made our experience even more memorable. They were very attentive especially towards our two young children and were eager to meet their needs, especially our son who has autism and looks visibly different due yo having a micro eye.
They were helpful from the get go, helping us bring our two buggies in and out. The food came out quickly and they were generous in portions.
Any request we made were dealt with promptly without any fuss, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back again during out next visit to the Eye Hospital. Thank you to Kirsty in particular and all the staff for the great service.
Went to the Gospel Brunch which was amazing! Such a feel good vibe with live music and singing, perfect for a Sunday afternoon. The food was to die for; I ordered from the Brunch menu which was great for wanting to remain healthy it also had an array of options for all you Vegan and Vegetarians out there. I'll definitely be back again.
