Very well executed food, with influences from all around the world and especially South America. The use of ingredients unusual in Europe, is well balanced, and the dishes are the expression of an elegant and at times quite classic fine-dining approach. The level of food was very high, especially the main dishes, fish and meat, were outstanding. The food deserves the two Michelin starts and the other accolades. In terms of quality/price ratio, probably on the expensive side, but the uniqueness of the food proposal is worth the visit. The area where the restaurant is situated it's not the nicest, the restaurant inside is nice and the atmosphere is good. The service overall was nice, although I would have liked more details and information about the dishes and the inspiration of them from the waiters. The rhythm of the food felt also slightly too fast for my preference, and I didn't always have time to pick the drink for the next dishes because of that, especially if I didn't like the first choice proposed by the sommelier. Fabulous blind tasting menu @daterrarestaurant in #bethnalgreen by chef @rafacagali Bold exciting flavours complement each other in every delicious dish and each presented beautifully with Brazilian ingredients and inspiration throughout. We struggled to pick a favourite course and loved that each had a twist of flavour that was both familiar but unexpected keeping our tastebuds intrigued throughout the meal. I mean who puts N25 caviar on ice cream for crying out loud?!?! More please 🙏🏼

Truly amazing experience, every dish is perfectly balanced and executed. We have been to many Michelin starred restaurants and Da Terra is better than most 3 stars. We went for lunch and had a choice of lunch tasting and full tasting menu, but we would highly recommend the full tasting menu

Amazing Experience. The Chef is very welcoming and explains the story of each dish. The staff is also very helpful. Every dish is made from scratch at the restaurant including the prosciutto which is remarkable.

Excellent creativity. Nice to see Brazilian components showcased in England... The rum-caviar dessert is spectacular. For me, Heston Blumenthal and this place are the two best restaurants in London.

Absolutely fantastic all round experience at Da Terra. Having been to many 2-3 star restaurants, this is now in our top 3 in the city together with Core and La Dame de Pic. Chef Rafa delivers a creative menu with strong Brazilian influences. Every dish is creative and full of flavours, beautifully combined. The moqueca and pork dish were true memorable standouts. The service was phenomenal, with thoughtful touches throughout. We will definitely visit Elis very soon as well. I would not be surprised if a third star is on the horizon soon.

Restaurant with a south american / Brazilian influence I particularly like when each kitchen staffs came and gave some insights about each dish and some of their cooking techniques I particularly like the Hamachi and its broth. The broth flavour was intense and nice The olive oil butter made without dairy was interesting also For the Moqueca, the coconut sauce could have had a little more flavour The bone marrow was good but it felt quite heavy In overall it was a good experience

LOVE. If anyone is tired of contemporary European, this is the place to try. Especially in summer! The plating was quirky, beautiful and surprising and obviously a lot of thoughts have been put in plating. Snacks, starters and main courses were so unique and creative yet super delicious. The pace and quantity of food was perfect (not a lot of 1/2 star restaurants did well on these aspects. Can’t remember how many times I just couldn’t eat anymore during main course) However the cheese was a bit to adventurous for me, and the baba was like a bit too creative… but it ended with a very pleasant pineapple coconut dessert. Overall LOVE. Don’t think a 2 star restaurant is desperate for my review, but will defo revisit!!!

Every single element of their tasting menu was utterly delicious, even the peas tasted like you just opened it fresh from the garden. Every single course was my favorite and so thoughtful presented - it’s pricey but worth every pound!

A gastronomical delight in east London. We started our tour with a bang by dining at Da Terra. It was an excellent Michelin level dining experience. The ingredients were clearly curated to form delicate flavours, from the snacks, savoury mains to even the desserts. I thoroughly enjoyed the bite size snacks, especially with the white truffle. Their fish stew was also delightful with the chilli beans / I felt as though I was transported to North East Brazil to sample its finest ingredients. The pineapple dessert from their tasting menu was refreshing with a balanced tartness and multi layers of texture. Would highly recommend.
