Truly amazing experience, every dish is perfectly balanced and executed. We have been to many Michelin starred restaurants and Da Terra is better than most 3 stars. We went for lunch and had a choice of lunch tasting and full tasting menu, but we would highly recommend the full tasting menu

Amazing Experience. The Chef is very welcoming and explains the story of each dish. The staff is also very helpful. Every dish is made from scratch at the restaurant including the prosciutto which is remarkable.

A gastronomical delight in east London. We started our tour with a bang by dining at Da Terra. It was an excellent Michelin level dining experience. The ingredients were clearly curated to form delicate flavours, from the snacks, savoury mains to even the desserts. I thoroughly enjoyed the bite size snacks, especially with the white truffle. Their fish stew was also delightful with the chilli beans / I felt as though I was transported to North East Brazil to sample its finest ingredients. The pineapple dessert from their tasting menu was refreshing with a balanced tartness and multi layers of texture. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic all round experience at Da Terra. Having been to many 2-3 star restaurants, this is now in our top 3 in the city together with Core and La Dame de Pic. Chef Rafa delivers a creative menu with strong Brazilian influences. Every dish is creative and full of flavours, beautifully combined. The moqueca and pork dish were true memorable standouts. The service was phenomenal, with thoughtful touches throughout. We will definitely visit Elis very soon as well. I would not be surprised if a third star is on the horizon soon.

LOVE. If anyone is tired of contemporary European, this is the place to try. Especially in summer! The plating was quirky, beautiful and surprising and obviously a lot of thoughts have been put in plating. Snacks, starters and main courses were so unique and creative yet super delicious. The pace and quantity of food was perfect (not a lot of 1/2 star restaurants did well on these aspects. Can’t remember how many times I just couldn’t eat anymore during main course) However the cheese was a bit to adventurous for me, and the baba was like a bit too creative… but it ended with a very pleasant pineapple coconut dessert. Overall LOVE. Don’t think a 2 star restaurant is desperate for my review, but will defo revisit!!!

Fabulous blind tasting menu @daterrarestaurant in #bethnalgreen by chef @rafacagali Bold exciting flavours complement each other in every delicious dish and each presented beautifully with Brazilian ingredients and inspiration throughout. We struggled to pick a favourite course and loved that each had a twist of flavour that was both familiar but unexpected keeping our tastebuds intrigued throughout the meal. I mean who puts N25 caviar on ice cream for crying out loud?!?! More please 🙏🏼

Restaurant with a south american / Brazilian influence I particularly like when each kitchen staffs came and gave some insights about each dish and some of their cooking techniques I particularly like the Hamachi and its broth. The broth flavour was intense and nice The olive oil butter made without dairy was interesting also For the Moqueca, the coconut sauce could have had a little more flavour The bone marrow was good but it felt quite heavy In overall it was a good experience

It was perfect. Beautiful place, the best service I've had and the food was exceptional. I loved that the chefs come and serve the food themselves, was a nice touch. Will definitely be back (once we've saved up a bit).

Every single element of their tasting menu was utterly delicious, even the peas tasted like you just opened it fresh from the garden. Every single course was my favorite and so thoughtful presented - it’s pricey but worth every pound!

Very well executed food, with influences from all around the world and especially South America. The use of ingredients unusual in Europe, is well balanced, and the dishes are the expression of an elegant and at times quite classic fine-dining approach. The level of food was very high, especially the main dishes, fish and meat, were outstanding. The food deserves the two Michelin starts and the other accolades. In terms of quality/price ratio, probably on the expensive side, but the uniqueness of the food proposal is worth the visit. The area where the restaurant is situated it's not the nicest, the restaurant inside is nice and the atmosphere is good. The service overall was nice, although I would have liked more details and information about the dishes and the inspiration of them from the waiters. The rhythm of the food felt also slightly too fast for my preference, and I didn't always have time to pick the drink for the next dishes because of that, especially if I didn't like the first choice proposed by the sommelier. The dishes

Excellent creativity. Nice to see Brazilian components showcased in England... The rum-caviar dessert is spectacular. For me, Heston Blumenthal and this place are the two best restaurants in London.

Great experience! Definitely worth Michelin 2 stars. Every dish was modern, delicious, and beautiful. Love the creativity and flavors; incorporation of Brazilian ingredients. The service was great, and liked that chef Cagali came to serve and interact with us. The restaurant is understated yet calm. We got to sit near the kitchen, which was very nice. I would highly recommend. You certainly won't be disappointed.

This is a two Michelin star restaurant in east London so prices are high but definitely worth it. The dishes have a Brazilian background but with a fusion twist and, for lunch, you can choose between a five and nine courses meals. We went for the 5 courses with wine tasting and it was delicious I have to say. It's very small but with a very nice atmosphere. You can also see the kitchen and the magic they do behind lthe counter. The staff is very polite and prepared. Definitely worth going if you like fine dining experiences.

What more can I say? Sensational food and wine from Chef Rafael. Managed to try the lunch tasting menu with the wine pairing. We were being looked after very well, even down to the small details. If you're in town, this is one place you dont want to miss. Kudos once again to Chef Rafael and team!

We’ve been coming to Da Terra since they opened and have seen them grow in to a fantastic two michelin star restaurant. The food , wine and service has always been exceptional. This continued today with yet another amazing visit as once again the creativity from the kitchen of developing new dishes and the constant willingness to improve the quality of those that have been on the menu from the beginning. Our visit started with the usual warm welcome on arrival before we entered the restaurant. Here we were to be greeted by manager Charlie , sommelier Maria , head chef Mark where after a brief chat we then headed to our customary table 10. Once settled it was then nice of chef / owner Rafael to come over and say hello. This was followed by a nice surprise as we were treated to a complimentary glass of bubbles of our choice from Maria’s new champagne trolley. Next was to decide on our menu choice. We opted for the full tasting menu and for the first time I chose to have the wine pairings whereas my wife only wanted to go for wines by the glass. We started preceding’s with the Caipirinha a take on a Brazilian cocktail. This was followed with a fabulous selection of snacks including a Duck Caesar , Stout Cup and Scallop along with the Mushroom and Taleggio Doughnut. Now it was time for the first course and what an incredible way to begin. The new Carabineros with datterini , palm heart and tomato vodka was absolutely mind blowing. This was paired beautifully by a Symington Family Estate Quinta de Fonte Souto 2020 from Portugal. Next to arrive was The Humble Chicken where the style of the dish had changed once more only to produce another stunning result. The wings , foot , yolk , white beetroot , tucupi and white truffle was a sensational burst of flavour on the palate. This version we both thought was the best to date. The dish was complimented superbly with a fantastic Negotians Vinarius Posip Tardiff 2020 orange wine from Croatia. Next to arrive was the Sourdough with bone marrow , cultured butter , gonneli 1585 olive oil. This dish has also been redeveloped to include a bone marrow spread and two slices of charcuterie. The pairing for the bread was a local dark mild from the local Boxcar brewery. This led us to the classic Moqueca a brazilian fish stew of aged turbot , manteiguinha beans and farofa. The few little tweaks made in the kitchen elevated this classic dish to an even higher level. The wine selection came from Maria’s home country of Greece. A fabulous Estate Argyros Cuvee Monsignori 2019 was an absolute treat. Our next course was the Cannelloni of courgette , houghton springs farm trout and chervil along with trout charcuterie. The wine pairing for this course was a Chateau Montus Blanc 2014. Now it was time for the main course and what a lovely surprise we were about to receive. We were honoured to be given the opportunity to try the new Pork Loin dish with cassava , sausage , morel and chimichurri. Well be could both honestly say it was amazing and I hope everyone gets to enjoy it soon. This was matched by an incredible Shafer 2018 red wine from the Napa Valley in California. Full of red and black berry flavours but not high in tannins made it an absolute dream. Next to come was the Romeo and Juliette a delightful cheese course featuring a goat’ cheese and a guava gel. This was nicely paired with a 30 year old Apostles sherry from Gonzales Byass. This brought us to the Baba with cachaca , pistachio and N25 reserve caviar. Now it was time to finish this fabulous menu with dessert. The Pineapple with coconut , fermented pineapple juice and verbena was a perfect way to end. The pairing was a sweet wine sent from the gods. The Umathum Beerenslause 2019 from Austria with citrus and honey flavours was just the perfect match. We finished with tea and coffee accompanied by a selection of Petit Fours including Cupuaca Cake , balsamic ice cream , macae chocolate and passion fruit and liqueur candy. This brought to end an outstanding dining experience that will be very hard to beat this year.

Went to London for a weekend and had one of the most amazing experiences ever in this restaurant. Although very small, I feel that it was intimate. It gives those who decide to come here a chance to go on a food journey whether it be for lunch or joining them for dinner. Everyone in that kitchen and front of house is well trained and knowledgeable. I enjoyed every course and also the selection available when you choose to do a wine pairing as well. Be prepared to spend good coin though. Well worth it in my opinion.
