I have forgotten how good this restaurant is. With the closure of Cha Char locally this is certainly the best Chinese restaurant in North Finchley. Very good service from nice young staff, wonderful fresh cooked food with delightful spicing, well priced wine which is quality, they know what they are purchasing. Nice intimate atmosphere, very pleasant evening.
7/10 Good take away chinese in North finchely.. I ordered take away and arranged delivery for Saturday evening. The food was nice and hot . It took 40mins to delivery after I ordered which they said it would only take only 15mins when I ordered. I didn't like lemon chicken,but I liked most of food. I'll order again very soon.
Best Chinese in the area. Opted for delivery, the food turned up quickly, was hot and the portions were good. Everything tasted fresh and as it should, the Cha Sui rivalled the best in Chinatown and I was delighted to finally find good Cantonese food in the area. Excellent.
Superb family run Chinese restaurant
Superb family owned and run restaurant in Finchley , food was amazing best prawn toast ever , lovely service and Beer in frozen glasses what more could you ask for , will definitely be coming back

I have had a few takeaways from here. I am really happy with the quality of the food. I particularly love the authentic sechuanese dishes. The lamb with cumin is amazing, as are the smacked cucumbers. Great to have a chinese doing more authentic dishes alongside the usual favourites.

It is a beautiful place for your Chinese take-out, no dine in unfortunately. The attendant was very nice and receptive. The mixed sea food noodles was awesome and offcourse the chicken fried rice is delicious. I definitely recommend Xian.
This is a good review. Tonight they made a mistake. The lemon sauce for my Lemon Chicken (which is fantastic, by the way), somehow got left with the driver, and I had to phone them back to say so. On the phone they were sincerely apologetic, and another driver returned withing 10 minutes, not only with an extra large pot of lemon sauce, but also a fresh batch of the chicken and an extra bag of prawn crackers. To me, this attitude represents a level of commitment that comes out in all their food. We've had deliveries many times and it is excellent.
I do grocery shopping here for asian/chinese products every week, owner and his wife are both friendly and knowledgeable, the store is compact but selection of product covers a wide range, you can get authentic ingredients as well as frozen and cupboards food.
Fantastic menu - large selection of dishes for meat eaters and vegetarians alike; tasty and doesn’t feel oily or greasy like some others. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in the area - for both dining in and takeaway. Pleased to see the supermarket there now too - great selection of food! Always superb service and lovely people.

We have gotten take away food from here a number of times and its always been very good so we decided to try eating in. It was a decision we would not regret, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was extremely good! I could not fault any of it, soups were very good and main dishes were excellent, not over salted good size portion and extremely satisfying. Our new local Chinese ☺️
