Have eaten in O'Neills on many occasions never a complaint. This is a pub but the food and service are both great and above average for pub food
The team here are great Herbie and the other bar staff are friendly and very informed on the bar drinks.
Had food on 3 occasions now and have to say the chef is great and really checks everything you want and offered alternatives when they had not had my request. Shame they don’t do roast dinners on Sundays as a live a roast with a football match. Good prices before 8pm weekdays and cheap food.
I would employ Kylie the chef if I had my own pub to run. 5 stars
Food was fine though steak was medium rather than medium rare. There really was no atmosphere as just a smattering of old men with us old fogies!

Food was really good, the pub was clean with friendly staff, I think the music could have been turned up abit but other than that no complaints, chips were great and chunky and the burgers are worth the price. I would say if you’re black defo try here although I didn’t see any other black people there I think it’s a great place and their drink menu is worthwhile
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The air conditioning was wonderful on such a scorching hot day. The staff are welcoming and friendly and make the experience a real pleasure.
Never had any food.
But other than that it was great.
Going back there tomorrow.

Great atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly and pleasant every time I go there. This time I went in order to celebrate the new year at the pub and the music and everything was great. The environment was very friendly. My reservation was for 21:45. I was thirty minutes late and the waiter did not even mention it and still allowed us to sit on our table. The mojito was missing the mint leaves but maybe that's how the British make a mojito, idk. It still tasted good. This pub has an effect that most pubs in the UK have. It gives you the feeling that you are welcome no matter who you are and what you look like. 25 years and I never felt like that in my home country. So yeah if you want to go to a pub that has nice food, has a nice beautiful environment and makes you feel welcome you should definitely visit this one. it's also pretty huge so you will always find a table to sit.
*The toilets are like a five star hotel's toilets which is a huge plus.
I absolutely love coming in here, Steph, Joe and the team are amazing, warm and welcoming to all, and dog friendly too, I'd highly recommend this pub to anyone in and around the vicinity of Blackheath. Top, top pub with even better staff, and all at a reasonable price as well.
The staff were so friendly, happy and bubbly. Laughing and joking and helpful as I was after a non alcoholic drink but not lemonade, coke etc. The food was too lovely and fresh, hot and served within a great time. Thank you for a lovely visit and we will return
