Really good Mediterranean cuisine (Turkish / Greek). We have ordered the hummus and avodaco and prawns cocktail and we loved it! The hummus comes with baked bread and it is amazing!
As main course we had the recommended dish: adana (with rice instead of bulgur), seafood spaghetti and lamb fillet.
Everything was really tasty! We'll repeat!

Management are attentive and accommodating! They rectified a situation impeccably. Went for a birthday meal of around 16 people. I've been once before. Both times the food was very good. I've had the fish and lamb. I heard the chicken was a bit dry but I didn't have that so I can't comment on that fully. I'm going to have to go back there to see if it's third time lucky! Also the food is very reasonably priced and as soon as you get in there it feels like a very posh restaurant, considering the area.

Under the radar restaurant serving good Turkish dishes plus a few Italian plates. The place offers friendly service and lovely food in a sweet neighbourhood setting.
I love the lamb or the mixed kebab plus a specialty kebab served over flat bread covered in sauce. Delish!

Wonderful atmosphere, great service, delicious food.
My friend and I came around 6:30 pm on a Thursday and it seemed we were the first to arrive at the restaurant. The place seems really fancy, however, it still manages to have a really cosy atmosphere. The menu is extremely diverse, especially in the antré section. We decided to go for 2 starters each and one to share. We found that the portions are really generous and delicious and we were not feeling hungry anymore after finishinh those. The lentil soup (of the day) was a delight, the calamari were really well done and the feta cheese pastry was to die for. If you go for the goat cheese, mind you it's a masive chunck. It can easily be shared between two, unless you really, really love goat cheese.
They serve olives and fresh bread with butter on the house. We were ready for the bill when the server comes with two tiny baklavas and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the house. How wonderful is that? At about 8 pm the place had maybe 6 tables of customers but it still managed to keep its lovely vibe.
Next time I visit the place I will definitely try the fruity chicken which sounded amazing.

This is my fourth time here in a month. I have found my absolute ideal Mediterranean restaurant. Worth the 4 mile drive from Highgate. If this was within walking distance then I’d be here every night. Such fabulous food and the kids love it as well.

Just experienced a fabulous meal at Excellent price for London. So tasty and wonderful host. Lovely balmy summer evening sitting in the restaurant with the doors open. Nothing to fault.

A friendly welcome back to the neighbourhood after a hiatus of several years. Good quality food - nice meats - but since it's just re-opened there are a few service issues that no doubt will be ironed out over the coming weeks. Decent value for money - expect to pay about £13 for meat, rice and salad.

Great home made hummus to start. I have a mix of starters as my main (as I'm vegetarian). Loved the falafel (which came with more hummus... whoo hoo!). Hubby had the mixed grill.
All very tasty and great portion sizes.
The service was super friendly.

We wanted an "authentic Mediterranean restaurant" in the Canonbury area in London. Discovered is Bavo. We had a mezza starter, salad, and lamb kabobs that easily satisfied two. The Italian wine was perfect. The design is open and fresh. The service is impeccable. The food is among the best that we have experience in greater Islington. It is well worth the visit. I bet evenings are wonderful too.
