Great cafe by the river, excellent breakfast cooked to perfection. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Will definitely be back to try some more of their menu next time I'm in town. Thanks!

I had lunch at Bread previously (last fall) when visiting and had the most amazing soup so I was looking forward to trying it again now that I’ve moved to the area. We went for lunch on a busy Sunday and had fish and chips. I didn’t eat the breading because I’m not a fan of fried breading in general but the fish itself was fantastic. It was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. My spouse ate and enjoyed the breading and said it was fantastic — delicate and not too hard. The chips (or fries) were thicker than we like only because our preference is thin and crispy but for thick fries they were good. They have a big selection of menu items as well as drinks — including freshly made juices and smoothies as well as wine, sparkling water, soda, tea, etc. Our server was nice and efficient and when we wanted more details on what was included in the Sunday roast, he got someone else immediately to describe the details and we appreciated that. Our waiter was very accommodating when I asked for a lot of lemon slices and even taught me how to squeeze a lemon with a fork so the juice didn’t squirt all over. I love that tip! The desserts looked very tempting — so much so that we had to get one and it was decadent and delicious. My husband had a cappuccino and it was sprinkled with cinnamon. My freshly made mint tea was indeed fresh and very enjoyable to drink. The prices are very reasonable especially for the high quality of food. Looking forward to trying more menu items in the future especially breakfast.

Good service. Staff are very nice. Food is very good. Compliments to the chef. It is a nice atmosphere to have a quick bite or a long meeting lunch. Menu is also catered for vegan or vegetarian.

If you want great food and coffee in a relaxed restaurant this is the place. I recommended the vegetarian breakfast, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffees.

Based on having a coffee and a pastry, this place is great. Nice spot by the river, really friendly staff / good service. Good atmosphere. Looking forward to going back to try out the lunch (the mains looked to be about a tenner each, which seems quite reasonable).

Some food is great (mostly the bread stuff) but why not try the tasty chicken burger for your first visit. Some of the food is still abit under par. Nice views and the venue itself is ok. The croissant 🥐 was a bit dry, I prefer Waitrose ones.

Went for supper and they have THE best sandwiches - crunchy bread, avocado, halloumi cheese, sooo tasty. We went back the next morning for breakfast and had the best eggs florentine I've ever had (on the tastiest bread). Service was very very friendly and the place was impeccably clean and cozy, right on the water. This would be my spot if I lived in London.

I had the pleasure of having a fantastic lunch at this brassiere. Friendly and attentive staff in a very clean and welcoming and environment, fantastic sourdough pizza with a crispy bottom! Good prices considering we are in London, great south American bean coffee as well. Did not try the pastries but they looked delicious could not recommend enough! Will be returning to try the rest of the menu asap.
