Bokit La

Hired the guys to cater our office lunch and we cannot fault them at all. Very professional, accommodating and friendly, the entire office was happy with lunch with some purchasing extras to take home. Would definitely hire them again maybe in the summer. Absolutely stunning. I had the saltfish bokit and my missus had the chicken, both were amazing. I asked for hot and it was delicious, a perfect heat that got up my nose and in my ears. Plantain was perfectly done and chips were good too. Very friendly guys who obviously care about the food. 10 out of 10, hope to get the chance to visit again!

Such delicious Caribbean food! Since my heritage is Jamaican, I've never come across this food before but it is delicious! The Bokit is like a pitta pocket made with what we would call fried dumplings! I had mine with salt fish, plantain and avocado so was like my Christmas breakfast! Had to look up the website address. Will definitely be trying this again and visiting the other locations to get more if this street food!

My friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint. I went to the Kennington/oval pop up on a Friday evening not knowing what to expect. And wow the bread is between a fried dumpling and pitta, the chicken (I got medium in size and spice) spicy but not too hot for me yet so flavour some. I would 100% recommend, next time I will be trying the salt fish fritters as well. The guy serving us I didn’t get his name was lovely and polite and let me try the hot sauce to try and persuade me, but I stuck to the medium to stay safe lol. Small £5 Med £7 Lge £8 chips £4 (fed 2 so us) Well worth it would love to see a restaurant! Well done guys.
