After a long day at work I wanted to go for a good old pint. As I walked towards the station, I decided to walk down Tooley street for my pint. Spotted The bridge lounge straight away as it stood out for me like a traditional English pub. As I walked in I was greeted by the pleasant bartender who poured me a perfect pint of Fosters. The bar counter is right in the middle and all the seating area's are located round this.

I was just browsing through their menu and spotted the steak roll with onion rings and wedges. I had a few minutes to spare so decided to order it. Visually it looked amazing, the steak roll is served on a piece of wooden slab and wedges come in a tin container. The steak was cooked well and BBQ sauce was a good combination for the wedges. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy a quick drink and a bite to eat.

I have been to this place a few times now. The first time was for a quick lunch - which ended up being not so quick - but i have to say the food was really really good. The last couple of times have been to grab a few drinks. The beer selection is healthy and usually there is a good crowd without the place being too noisy or too overcrowded. The starter selection is limited and also found it to be a bit over-priced for quantity. The food was delicious though, so cannot complain about that. I would say go for lunch and maybe just drinks.

Really friendly staff, small and quiet (4pm). Had dinner here. 5 small plates, a kids meal deal, 1 juice, 2 cokes and a pint of guiness under £55. For 4 people next to Tower Bridge that's great value. Highly recommend the gun powder tots!

Good upstairs music venue for the open mic, would be even better if the bar upstairs was manned, overall a good place close to the City centre for a few beers.

We had a a fun filled night in here. Service was good, beer / wine was good. What more do you want. Emily and Nelson were informative and fun. I like when people know about the bar and the local area. Been before. Will come again.

Nice little Ale House with an upstairs room for functions. The staff were nice. Food is on offer but I didn't order anything so I can't really comment on prices but people seemed to be enjoying it. Would go back if something is on there otherwise too far out of my way for a quick pop in.

Needed a quick dinner before heading to the nearby Bridge Theater for a show. Delicious, inexpensive food served by an attentive, friendly staff. We really enjoyed the “charisma” chairs. 🤩

Emily and Nelson were just the best hosts of the pub. They were fun and fast and offered good advice on the offerings if the pub. Will defo come back for the atmosphere and more so for the service. ☺️

The staff were really friendly. When I told them that I wasn't a big drinker and needed help, they gave me great recomendations! The pub is clean, the toilets were clean and we'll stocked. And I'll definitely be coming back.
