The restaurant's mantra is ' piccolo e bello ' which translates to ' small is beautiful '. Being a relatively petite person with massive belly capacity, this was quite intriguing. I enjoy the concept of sharing plates/tapas as punters get the chance to try more dishes but I do prefer the feeling of having had a proper meal instead of feeling like I've only just grazed. The St Paul's restaurant is tiny; the ground floor covers about 25 at most and the basement covers an intimate party of 10
Of the eight main dishes ordered, the gnocchi seemed to be the only sub-standard one. Allowing for this exception to what was otherwise a great meal (great service, restaurant comfort and feel, starters, wine, and most main courses) and an altogether pleasing experience, Enoteca da Luca scores 3.5 out of 5 in the LardButty index.

Despite being in the City, it feels like a nice relief from the hustle and bustle. There is the indoors area, then a covered terrace, then the terrace itself, so many options.
The food is very tasty, absolutely loved the sea bream paccheri pasta, divine! The carbonara also looked amazing as well as the truffle pasta 🍝😋

As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed. The menu offers several options and everything was very good, especially the porchetta and the ravioli. I liked the wine list too, elaborate and with a variety of choices. In short, very nice location with a welcoming atmosphere and the staff were very kind, attentive to details and friendly, especially Valentina. I recommend it!
Nice Italian food at slightly high prices, but then what you might expect from Devonshire Square. Had the steak and the lamb and both received good reviews.
The service was a bit slow at first, which is understandable. Took us in without a booking - a big plus nowadays. Food was lovely and Super Sonic Gin and Tonic is amazing 👏
