Live South of the river but always visit here when nearby. When eating al fresco you feel like you are on holiday. Love the food - great service - yes a bit more than other cafe's but well worth it Looking forward to next time

My wife suggested we visit here, and I thought just another café. I was wrong. Yes they do breakfasts, sandwiches and paninis, but many of the combinations are original and the quality is superior to most other cafés. Yolks are golden, bacon is fat and flavourful and the Cumberland sausages are fat, full of flavour and home made. After tasting this, I take issue with another comment that they may be better to stick to being a tea shop. Why should they deprive us of their lovely food? The teas by the way are served in a random variety of pots and teacups which I think is a nice eccentric touch. The tea follows the one for each person and one for the pot recipe. My wife made the comment that she really enjoyed her panini, and particularly the vinaigrette that accompanied the salad. Already planning our next visit to tie in with a trip to the Odeon around the corner.

Is there anything better than a full English breakfast for lunch?? Prices are reasonable. Food is always great. Nice range of drinks choices. All of the meat is English pork 👌🙌 which is a nice change! Milkshakes are a meal on their own. Fully recommend.

Wonderful home cooked proper food and great friendly, passionate service, what more could you ask of a cafe? Really tasty homemade soups and interesting meals mean there are more healthy options available than your average cafe. I had asparagus & new potato salad and my wife loved the mushroom & chestnut soup. We'll definitely be back for more! Highly recommended.
