I have been to the other branches several times and this is my first time to try this branch.
£5.5@ main or £7@starter + main which price is absolutely reasonable. I ordered spring roll + pandang curry and spicy fried noodle(take away). The curry is so creamy with coconut flavor. Spring roll and prawn toast are acceptable at this price.
There is secret garden at the rear of the restaurant. Though It’s too hot today I didn’t get a table outside, it would be a great dining experience and will try next time😌
Amazing service, amazing food, amazing decor. One of the best restaurants I've been to so far in London - we were recommended to visit by a guy passing us in the street and I'm so glad we were!!
Lovely evening in this unusual and fantastically decorated restaurant. Starters were delicious and my friend's noodles were wonderful. My Pad Thai had an unusually heavy sweet sauce which slightly overwhelmed the prawns and peanuts. Otherwise a fantastic experience and incredible value probably helped by BYO. Would definitely come back.
This place is absolutely amazing. Everything on the menu comes at a reasonable price. The restaurant is compact but it has stuffed animals hanging on the walls, a big working piano and a wonderful garden with outdoor sitting. It stands out from all the Thai Restaurants I've ever been to. In regards to the food it tends to be to sweet for my palette and they don't have any deserts on the menu but overall is a great place to celebrate any ocasion.
Authentic Thai cuisine but the portion was small for its price. Only accepts cash so we had to go to a stall nearby to withdraw cash.
Cool little place. So quirky and the decor so extraordinary (amongst many others, a stuffed giraffe!) you don't really when notice the food, bit i'm sure it was super.
Went with a friend from the neighborhood and also fell in love with this eclectically decorated little gem.
Delicious Thai food with great value. The red curry hits the balance of spice, sweetness, creaminess, and fruitiness and goes well with the sticky rice. It also contains a large portion of protein for the price. The duck is very tender.
Gyoza is more like dumpling-shaped spring rolls but still tastes good.
Fell in love with Poppy’s years ago and still love it. The restaurant itself is incredibly charming and cozy (if a bit scary 🦢taxidermied animals) and they play lovely piano music creating a very unique vibe that keeps enticing me back. Good for big groups as well as going just 2 people. Can get booked up so maybe call ahead for a table! 😉 the food is really yummy, I particularly love the prawn pad Thai, my favourite pad Thai in London. 🍜 also love the starters, especially fish cakes. The staff are always lovely. They do a great lunch deal, something like £7.50 for main and starter 😮 N.B. They only take cash!!! (Adds to the charm I think🤔)
Absolutely delicious. This place is such a nice cozy restaurant perfect for friends or couples. Prices are very reasonable, staff is lovely and food is delicious. The decor is interesting and the music is calming. You can never go wrong with Pad Thai and pad see ew. Chicken.
Quirky decoration, decent menu selection. Had the starter selection, fish cakes and a few mains to share. The starters were quite nice a bit of everything best item was the prawn rolls, the fish cakes so so not home made. The pork Pad Kee Mow noodles was very nice, sweet and sour was ok but the Penang curry was so so. Overall not bad and good value for money.
