Great staff, good choice of beers; around £5, nice food (The Sunday roast always runs out, it is only £11), two outdoor seating areas (one with shelter and heating) and lots of TVs for football. 17/4/23

🚇 Old Street 🍺 £4.70 Amstel ❤️ A friendly locals pub in Hoxton. . The Beehive is located on the edge of the Cranston estate in Hoxton and is around a ten minute walk from Old Street station. . A pub has occupied this corner in Hoxton since 1856. The Beehive along with most of the surrounding area was rebuilt after WWII. This pub is built in to the base of a block of flats and if it wasn’t for the patio umbrellas and flowers, you wouldn’t realise a pub was here. . The decor here is modern with a bit of traditional brass here and there. This pub has a pool table and plenty of screens showing live sport. There is also a jukebox If you fancy dropping a few tunes. . The beer lineup was full of the usual suspects, I decided on an Amstel which was a good pint and south of a fiver, bonus! . The atmosphere was upbeat with a dozen or so local punters in plus a group of lads around the pool table. A big shout out to the two girls behind the bar who were so funny and had loads of banter with the regulars, these girls were hilarious. . The Beehive is a friendly pub full of welcoming locals and excellent staff. It’s a bit off the beaten track but definitely worth a visit. . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 27/08/22
