Excellent atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. Good selection of beers. Definitely a pub I'll come back too regularly from now on.
Decent place, a goto pub for any day of the week. Service is always great, friendly and prompt. Food is good, enjoyed the pizza whenever they have those special ones. Decent beer!
All good, just the pizza, was just not for me as I did not get enough of drinks before - I guess. Superb quiz night, not many participants so it was easy to get the lead on that one. Fabulous beers! Thanks guys and get your pizza better! See you soon.
I love this pub! The staff are just awesome, as is the food and the drinks on offer. Such a cool decor inside too and so much on offer
Very smart pub in a lovely location. I didn’t visit before the current decor so can’t comment, nevertheless it’s an attractive pub.
Five hand pumps but, at the time of my visit, only DoomBar and Seafarers on; Landlord and Harvey’s off, plus one empty. Just needs a little more attention to real ale options to make it five stars!
Good pub with friendly staff and clean toilets. You can watch games as they have a huge TV.

What a little gem of a pub. Lovely traditional pub in the City. A fab atmosphere and friendly welcome. Should definitely pop in if you are in the area
What a comfortable and well lived little place this is. Big old fireplace with a Chet Baker poster above it. Doors open onto the lane by the square. As comfortable as my old cords. Wish I had my dog with me (although I never checked to see if hounds would be allowed). Fantastic music, and wall collage of pictures taken from old Sunday supplements. Beer was good. I had the Harvey’s Best Bitter, which was around £4. The bar serves pork pies too. Friendly lady behind the bar. A good, honest pub which I will actively seek out in future.
Great out of the way pub, lovely staff and a great selection. Will be returning!
