Outside The Box Islington

Surprisingly the place was really quiet on Saturday afternoon. We were the only guests. About the food basically english stuff breakfast, sandwiches and burgers. Nothing special at all. Burger was fine but for me burger is just a nothing interesting food. Dessert, the pancake with sauce and fruit. The sauce wasnt enough I missed some filling between the pancakes. It was really boring, sorry. Interior is great, Di Caprio wall painting was looking at us. Table decoration is unique. Some chairs are named like "queen" etc. Friendly service ✅

Around two weeks ago myself and a group of about 12 came and enjoyed a tasty meal as part of a stag event. Little did I know that we would be lucky enough to have the most amazing customer service given to us by Paul and Georgio. The food was very tasty! Really enjoyed my burger. They made sure that we had a very enjoyable time an our needs were catered for. Apologies for the late review Paul. Thanks again. Tommy.

An incredible place with an incredible stuff. I am a regular visitor in this place and I always discover something new there! This place has a unique atmosphere and decoration . It's just a place in my style!:) I feel very comfortable there every time, which is an amazing asset! I am very happy to take my friends there . They are always positively surprised by this place. The chef makes delicious meals! Believe me, I am very picky about food! I'm one of those people who never knows what she wants to eat! ;) Last time I ate Juicy Lucy Burger .. delightful and rich !! Highly recommended this place!!

Lovely place to hang out outside for a coffee and snack. The coffee with the mini ice cream was a delight to behold, and my Cool Banana smoothie and sweet potato fries were delicious. Unfortunately, the club sandwich was a real let down with barely toasted bread. The service was super friendly, although the waitress could have calmed down to listen a bit more carefully and allowed me to read and consider the menu before enthusiastically describing the items. Aesthetically speaking, the restaurant is not up to the glamorous image presented on their website. I'd suggest replacing the fake flowers with real ones, and the blue serviettes (which look like medical paper towels) with better quality black, grey or white ones. I also wasn't happy to see single use plastic straws, not only in my smoothie, but also in my glass of tap water. These are all minor changes which could take Outside the Box from a 3.7ish in my book right now to >4.5.

Had a lovely brunch here a few months ago when a friend was in town (so this is a late post). We were absolutely torn by all the options on the menu! The waitress was so nice that she noticed what a difficult time we were having to decide so she ended up bringing a third meal on the House (jalapeño waffle) just so we could try it! So thoughtful! This place is a hidden gem and I will def be back soon!

The atmosphere is fantastic! It's a little eclectic meets modern chic and it's oh so cute. They have outdoor seating which is great for nice weather. The food is incredible, great portion sizes, and good prices too. The cheesecake was my favourite, so amazing! The waitstaff is friendly and happy to help with anything you need. I give it a perfect ten!
