Luppolo

Very quiet on a rainy Sunday evening but hope it was our timing and business is good as we enjoyed ourselves. I had the chicken Milanese with roast potatoes which was fantastic, everything was flavoured really well and cooked to perfection. Had a lovely cosmopolitan too. My partner enjoyed his pizza. Service a little slow, especially considering there were so few other diners, but generally good.

Was taken here for my birthday. We decided to order lots of tapas type starters, including the Mediterranean platter. Food was delicious. I would be hard pressed to pick a favourite. The arancini balls were probably one of the best I have had. Even the fritters were great. The burrata was very fresh. It was like an indoor picnic. I had the non alcoholic elderflower cocktail, which was really refreshing and enjoyable. We were only supposed to have the table for a little over an hour but we were there for about 3 hours. The staff didn't rush us or try to make us feel uncomfortable for outstaying out time slot. I would also highly recommend the lunchtime pizzete. It's a good sized portion, delicious and excellent value. If more people knew about it they would go for lunch there.
