Only had a pint just before closing time didn't eat. Shepherd Neame ale was good. Several couples getting frisky made it a bit awkward.
This is an absolute gem, definitely my top pubs in Knightsbridge. Even though the place is almost always packed, the long serving table makes the queuing a lot more convenient.
The pub is owned by Shepherd Brewery which owns the license for Dutch beer Oranjeboom in UK. I don't think I have seen any other pub serving the beer in London. When you are around, don't forget to try this, you won't be disappointed.
I had a fantastic experience at the Wilton Arms in London! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The service was top-notch, and the food was delicious - five stars for sure! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The fish and chips were so huge that they could have doubled as a life raft in case of emergency! 🚣♂️😄 And the pork crackling? It popped in my mouth like fireworks on the Fourth of July! 🎆
Not to mention the excellent variety of beers on tap - it's a beer lover's paradise! 🍻
Located down a hidden side street, it's like finding a hidden treasure in the heart of London. Don't miss out on this gem! 💎🇬🇧
Seriously impressed!
I spent most of my trip to London trying to find pubs that did a decent pint of bitter, they proved to be rare and in the end just finding a pub that had bitter had to be seen as a success.
Though in former days of wider availability I would have seen Doom Bar and London Pride as second or third choices. I was happy not to be offered a selection of bad IPA as in most pubs.
The pub is popular, busy and in a swanky part of town.
The staff were not only nice and efficient but super obliging and helpful.
We hadn't planned to have dinner there until we saw the plates going past!
We're both fussy eaters - I said to my companion "See if they will do you the roast accompaniments - without the roast. It's probably the only things you'll like on the menu"
The bar man said he didn't think it was possible (because they needed them for the roasts) but went and asked anyway and the chef agreed to do it for us.
I had a collection of side dishes mostly veg. Not cos I'm vegetarian but generally I am not keen on roasts.
The Yorkshire pudding with (meaty) gravy was fabulous, everything was well cooked and delicious. Broccoli with almonds slivers, yum! A generous portion of cabbage (some type I'd never heard of before but cabbage is cabbage), I like cabbage and the truffle parmesan chips, could actually taste some truffle.
forgot to take any photos til I was well dug in!
Me and companion - see first comment!
Arrived late on Sunday evening at 9pm. The place is obviously popular as the bar looked as if it had been overwhelmed earlier. We sat outside on the street and watched the world go by. Food and beer was great with the exception of the cabbage whilst being tasty certainly wasn't as described.
Best Sunday roast ever! The entire menu is awesome - been a few times and had different starters and mains, all of them just nom. Love the atmosphere and deco as well, very cozy and warm. Super nice staff and great drinks - great little pub!
This was our first time at the Wilton Arms. It was a great experience from the warm welcome to the friendly goodbyes. The atmosphere is cozy and the vibe is congenial. The servers were all attentive. The menu was creative and the food was delicious. The burrata was really fresh and the burger was perfectly cooked. We will return whenever we are in London.

❤️ A relaxing and stylish Belgravia boozer.
.
The Wilton Arms is located on picturesque Kinnerton Street in swish Belgravia. Knightsbridge is only a five minute walk away.
.
Built in 1826, this former Shepherd Neame pub had a major refurbishment a couple of years ago and the results are elegant and stylish.
.
This Victorian pub has some beautiful wood detailing around the good sized bar. Opposite the bar are classy Georgian wall panels, gathered around the traditional fireplace are comfy chesterfield sofas and wing chairs to complete the look. The rest of the bar is simple by comparison, at the back of the pub is a conservatory which floods the rear of the bar with light. Upstairs there is a function come dining room with similar suave decor.
.
The beer choice was good and I was pleased to see Asahi on tap, my pint was great but at an above average price point. The food menu isn’t over complicated and offers elevated Gastro style pub classics, fish and chips costs £19.
.
I visited late afternoon on a Friday back in November. There were half a dozen or so punters in and the atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. The service was friendly and welcoming and done so with a smile.
.
@thewiltonarmssw1 was a pleasant visit and I loved the stylish decor here. The beer was good but a bit pricey, the food menu raises the bar a few notches above your standard pub grub offer. This pub is one for all occasions, definitely worth a visit if you’re in this part of town.

The Fish & Chips are perfection. Grilled lemon, house tartar sauce, excellent mushy peas, all the little details are just right. The breading is one with the fish, and doesn't separate from it. Off the main road so you have to look for this place. Amazing staff and atmosphere.
I just adore The Wilton Arms - at all times when business or holiday travel takes me to brilliant London! This is especially true on a Sunday afternoon - when I can stop by for lunch; ordering my favorite roast chicken dish.
I definitely look forward to my next visit in a few months time!
Keep up the wonderful work and service.
Kind Regards -

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family & friends & we had a wonderful afternoon there. I highly recommend!!!
Fantastic Sunday lunch. Highly recommend the roast and especially the fish and chips. Extremely well priced for the location and quality of food.
The service was patient, helpful, and very efficient.
Fantastic little pub hidden away in bougie Belgravia! Haven’t found another like it. Clean, warm, super comfortable and hella cozy. The music SLAPS. Classic 80s and solid old school tunes throughout. Service was 10/10 and the staff know what’s goin on. Great spot.
Went there for drinks. Drinks on taps are quite enjoyable. Cozy and secluded. Prices are very reasonable, considering the location and atmosphere.
We had a big group event in the private dining room upstairs and it was absolutely lovely! The staff were incredibly accommodating, the food was delicious and overall we had a fab time. Absolutely no complaints - would highly recommend!
Best fish and chips we had in London. Every detail was done to their best abilities and the ambience was amazing too.
Must try: haddock fish & chips, sticky toffee pudding
Please skip: gnocchi
Lovely pub , great staff and excellent food . My fish and chips was excellent (I’m a Londoner so can say this with expertise) . Light batter and non greasy. My friend had freshly cooked pie he said was delicious
They brought water for our dog in a crystal glass bowl ! :)
Food was really tasty albeit pricey (£27 for a roast with beef), however we ordered a roast that clearly comes with cauliflower cheese according to the menu, but didn't have it and when asked, apparently we had to order separately even though it was part of the trimmings (lies) .
Lovely warm welcome, simple menu with something for everyone.
Super for a chilled birthday lunch.
