Boca - Latin Bites

I've walked past a couple of times and looked, but now I don't think I'll be walking past without going in. I chose the big box lunch which included 2 empanadas with rice, beans, salad and both Salsas. Great value but even better flavour, the pork was sweet and smoky and the beef rich and a little spicy. The green coriander salsa was fresh and tasty but the star of the box was the habenaro sauce tangy and thick with but with real heat commin from the chilly. I'm going to be working my way through the rest of the menu!

Went for lunch yesterday and loved it; Walked past it loads of times without trying and was immediately filled with delicious regret. I had the 'Big Bowl', the Empanadas were sensational (especially the veggie feta one), it was great value and I will be coming back with my work mates next week. Service and food 10/10.

I got a lunch box, for £5.95. It comes with rice, beans, lettuces, cherry tomatoes, red cabbage, and some sauces (not spicy 👍). Then you choose 2 empanadas from a selection of 6 or so. I tried the pulled pork one, which was very good, and the spinach one, which had some funny taste that reminded me of mold so I wouldn’t recommend that one. I’m not very fond of empanadas because they tend to be greasy, but these ones weren’t greasy at all 👍, so I may repeat next time I’m around and try the other flavors 😊 Overall, good value for money.

Underrated, hidden parcels of joy! I found out about this small eatery through the MealPal scheme, and have not looked back since. I'm familiar with the staff there, who are extremely friendly and informed. All the empanadas are delicious, it would be a crime to choose a favourite. Also a fan of the natas they offer! Lovely hidden gem in the heart of Middlesex Street.

This cafe is new on the block and a little gem. Super friendly and efficient service and delicious food. I'm a big fan of Latin food and Boca didn't disappoint. Star of the show was the veggie empanada. Yum. Also love that you can have as many sides in your box as you want! There are some really good cakes and pastries on offer too and the little cheesy bread balls were very tasty. This place represents fantastic value for money and the food is excellent. Added plus are the tables outside and the baby changing facilities (I visited with my little girl). Will certainly be back next time I am in that part of town.

I have visited Boca twice in the last few weeks during my lunch break and can't get enough of it! The pork and beef empanada box set is fantastic and a great lunch time deal as you get a generous portion of rice, salad, salsa, coleslaw, the black beans (a favourite for me) plus two of your choice of empandas. The decor is great too, very stylish so its nice to sit in and there are a few tables outside, nice for eating lunch outside. I would highly recommend this.
