Pretty standard Costa branch, but with the added part of being conveniently located near bustling train stations (Embankment underground and Charing Cross). Not the place for those in for the coffee culture of reading the newspaper and soaking the atmosphere. More for those looking for a kickstart to the day, or a quick bite on your beverage on your way to work. Costa is one of my favourite coffee places, it realises the true essence of making a good cup.. each one is made with sentiment!

My indulgence in coffee is the Cafe` Mocha. There are always specifications with which everyone likes their coffee. I prefer a light coffee with light milk and more chocolate. Of all the coffee houses I have killed time at, Costa understands and makes it the best. To add to its goodness is the fact that they have a delectable choice of cakes and muffins. This particular branch at Trafalgar Square is my most favourite spot as its right in the centre of the hustle-bustle yet you can sit down quietly on the first floor and enjoy the perfect cup of happiness.

This Costa is very conveniently located next to Embankment tube stop and Charing Cross station. It's principle attraction is that you can dash in for a latte on the way to work or stop by for a leisurely cappuccino to prepare you to do battle on the commute home.

The principle problem is that about ten thousand other people and a legion of tourists are likely to be doing exactly the same. The chance of getting a seat is nil at peak times.
