❤️ Popped in with the lads for a few beers before going to see the boxing at The York Hall. Have been to this establishment many times before and it was as lively as ever. The one thing I love about this pub it is full of characters either local or passing through. The boxing was great and Reece Belotti did the business, great night, great pub.

An old school pub right in the heart of Bethnal Green. They were only taking cash payments when we visited - not sure if that's a permanent thing or just a temporary issue.
Proper Cockney locals pub. Friendly atmosphere, nice staff, reasonably priced drinks for London (£5.20 for Heineken/Guinness) with a decent selection and great jukebox. Cash-only though but there's a cash machine just round the corner at Sainsburys or a bit further down at the BP Garage.
The Salmon and Ball (what is that rhyming slang for?) is a proper in your face, Bethnal Green Boozer! Loud, sporty and male dominated. Ladies, don't let this put you off, these are good lads. Respect for everyone is here (except real ale drinkers because there is no cask ale!). A fantastic boozer in the East end, not to all tastes but, a gem.
Popped in on the way to the West Ham game with some mates. This is a proper east end boozer. Staff are brilliant. Proper down to earth. Guinness was absolutely amazing and there is a good selection of lagers / cask beers. Don't go in here expecting a poncey hipster bar. It is what it is. A proper pub full of proper old school genuine people. Exactly what a pub should be like.
No food but am excellent place to meet And have a drink karaoke nights just brilliant Beer first class pint
Lovely Eastend pub with traditional decor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was fast and efficient. Will definitely be visiting again

Cash only great East end pub only popped in for a pint but was a lovely place to be
Proper pub. Went here before going to the comedy club up the road. But I would have been more than happy to stay here all evening. Friendly too 👍
