The food was top class tonight all piping hot enjoyed every mouthful, the gentleman who delivered was very pleasant. Will definitely order again and soon.
I ordered a Jalfrezi Chicken and a Jalfrezi Lamb for collection.
The takeaway has a dated feel to it but, it was clean and presentable. Also, I noticed that their Food Hygiene Rating Sticker has a rating of 5, which is higher than some of my favourite takeaways. I had no issues with the food or the service and I would certainly order from Rowan Tandoori again.

Rowan Tandoori has been my go to Indian/Bangladeshi takeaway for the last 5 years. I'm quiet fussy about eating Indian/Bangladeshi food from just anywhere...
Yes there are these Michelin Star restaurants who cater for the fine dining and who claim to be authentic Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine. But I like my original Indian/Bangladeshi curry house flavours and dishes that I have been eating from the 80s and 90s which is really difficult to find. I call that the real British Indian/Bangladeshi curry house food. Everytime I have ordered from Rowan Tandoori I've asked if they could make my Lamb tikka Biryani Spicy cooked with chopped green chilli's..
Instead of the vegetable curry sauce can I get Tarka dhall or even if they could make my Mottor Paneer Bangali style with no cream, they always have provided happily without no complaints or excuses.
Unlike othe places where I have told the cant change or make anything diiferent from the menu. Like I said I'm very fussy about my food but Rowan Tandoori have always been on point with their flavours and service.
The food is just delicious. There are a great number of options, the service is very good, fast and delivery fast too if you want it. No eat-in, this isn't a restaurant, but the waiting area is very clean and comfortable. They sometimes put extra free drinks or starters with larger orders. This is our regular for the past 4+ years.

Very good Indian curry love the taste
Tried it for the first time and this will without a doubt be my go to place because everything was perfect. The staff are really nice and super friendly and welcoming. The portions are very generous and very reasonably priced. I waited less than 15 minutes for them to freshly prepare my meal. The food itself was delicious, and perfectly balanced and they even added a complimentary poppadoms which is always nice. Just a great experience!
No restaurant but food is excellent. Staff quite rude though.
This Indian takeaway is one of the best. We order yesterday their food was delicious. The shatkora meat bhuna and chicken tikka naga jelfrezi and their sweet, sour and hot Dansak was amazing.
Their portion is generous too.
I would highly recommend them.
You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been going here for 20 years. The food was better when the older guy used to run it. But it is still really good. They need to give you dips though.
