Aww! Freebird burritos saved my day. I told my Mexican friend I wanted something a bit different today for my lunch, so we decided to walk down to Liverpool, on sighting Freebird Burritos , he told me we're having one of our best lunch today. He ordered burrito for me and guess what? I had burrito for the first time today and it was really nice, tasty and delicious. I'll definitely come back with my girlfriend soonest! Thank you Carlos for today's meal! xxx
Whilst my natural inclination when craving a burrito is to seek out one of the excellent burrito food vans of London (Luardos food van surely indisputably makes London's best burriito!), I have now and again also frequented Freebird Burritos, with its excellently variegated menu and its good service. The staff are friendly and the burritos are of a good quality at a competitive price. Well worth a visit for any and all aspiring burrito connoisseurs.
Note that from here I got takeaway at lunch - I ordered the pork burrito with guacamole. Still unsure as to why guacamole is considered an extra, but I have seen this is like a norm in London. Anyhow, the burrito was massive, yummy and very well wrapped and presented.
A couple of my colleagues ordered fajitas: I saw them, and they looked just like the burrito but a bit smaller when in fact a fajita is a completely different thing! This was a bit confusing.
However, I was very happy with the size and quality of the burrito and would very much love it if we ordered from here again. I recommend it completely!
Reading the review it seems that it is a bit hit and miss with this place. For me it was a hit. Good Vegetarian Salad, friendly funky service.
The best burrito in Liverpool Street. A great selection of fillings and generous portion sizes. The team are always up for a chat, down to earth and really friendly. Always a highlight of my lunch outings. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
Have eaten here well over a dozen times, always had a great experience. Unlike most people commenting here I seem to have been lucky enough to get friendly service, good portions and consistently good food. Would have been 5* if they had a more generous loyalty card.
The original London burrito, and still one of the best. Generous portion size, flavoursome and served up quickly and efficiently. Better than Tortilla! Try the beef one.
Had a chicken burrito for lunch which was tasty and filling and less than a fiver.
I've had better and I have paid less but I have also had worse and paid more so 4 out of 5
