Hello friends! I’ve never been one to particularly enjoy high tea but being in London, I just couldn’t leave without having it at Harrod’s tea room! While there were lots of other high tea spots to try in town, we decided to go with Harrod’s tea room because in our opinion, it was the most iconic location to try it out.

This was, for us, a little pit-stop before going on elsewhere for a bigger lunch. A party of 4, it took us around 5 minutes to wait to be seated at a table.
Our orders were taken in double quick time and our table was very quickly furnished with beautiful china teacups, saucers, sugar bowl etc.
The tea was fresh and delicious, the hot chocolate was rich and tasty. All served with a little butter biscuit on the side.
A little on the pricey side, but then it's Harrods and worth the hike in cost just for the beautiful experience of it all.
Will definitely return and try out some of the food there & very much recommend it's worth a visit if you're in Harrods and fancy a cuppa!

Lovely little tea room. Really nice atmosphere. Our waitress was accommodating as I did not like the sandwich fillings so I got to switch to crumpets. All the afternoon treats tasted delicious, although I found my salted caramel dessert extremely sweet, it was delicious but very overwhelming. Tea selection is great. I think one would be enough between two people, I was in a group of 4 and we all got one each which really was too much. Great spot for a special occasion, it's expensive but as a one off its worth it.

For couple of hours we were in Harrod’s and we decided to grab a quick bite from one of the restaurants here. We were wanting to eat in Pizzeria & Canti Prosecco Bar, famous for its Neapolitan chef Giuseppe Silvestri. But the waiting was too long and we headed to its neighbour The Tea Room.

A bright and cheerful The Tea Room on the second floor at the Harrods is one the place to enjoy an extensive menu of some of Harrods' finest teas. The West-London menu, features quintessentially English line-up of mouth-watering fare. From The Brompton breakfast to The London Particular and The Chelsea, the Tea Room is open for breakfast, lunch and supper and includes a range of dishes, from light snacks such as Welsh rarebit and open smoked and poached salmon sandwich to fuller meals of traditional fish pie and British sausages. You can also end your meal with their delightful sweet delights, the Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt being one of the favourites.

We ordered a Stuffed Tomato with aubergine caponata on spinach polenta, Chicken and Tarragon Pie with baby onions, button mushrooms, smoked bacon and greens and a Black Forest Tart with some Cappucino, Latte and Macchiato.

The Stuffed Tomato turned to be delightful dish in presentation and taste. The Sicilian caponata was beautiful and tasted fantastic with the tomato. The spinach polenta was rich and creamy and had slight hint on spinach. Garnished with edible pansies this dish was all red, yellow, blue and green. A real treat for the eyes!

The pie, which was served with snow peas on the side, also was a filling dish.

The Black Forest Tart turned to be a work of art. It had chocolate sablee pastry (made with butter, flour or powdered almonds, butter, egg, sugar and flavored with vanilla) filled with griottine cherry compote, topped with kirsch (brandy distilled from the fermented juice of cherries) cream and Harrods No 1 chocolate mouse. The explosion of various flavours, when you put a piece of this tart in the mouth is amazing!

Do try this restaurant if you are in Harrods. Apart from the wonderful teas, they also serve Harrods Lager for GBP 7.50!

Definitely go with an empty stomach if you're ordering the afternoon tea set. And don't have it alone! I went in a group of 3 and there still was so much left to eat! You get some sandwiches, scones and your choice of a full-sized pastry!

The food court selection is spectacular! If money were no object, I would shop at Harrods daily. As a London tourist, I absolutely loved it. Everything was fresh and delicious! The retail offerings are exquisite! There are so many lovely, shiny things!

This is just a review of the food hall and chocolate hall within Harrods Ultimate in luxury food , a very impressive selection of sandwiches, sushi , pasta within the food court There were rotisserie's & pasta counters which could cook any combination of sauce and pasta for you ... but I marked it down a star because there were no seating areas provided to enjoy what you have ordered and most who do would either have to eat on the street or take home a freshly cooked pasta which would have been nice to sample hot and just prepared . This is a common complaint and for £28 I would expect table service! ( I know its not going to happen but just voicing my opinion) I decided to try the once in a life time purchase of the outrageously priced wagu beef sour dough sandwich at £28 ... yes you read that correctly Best sandwich I have ever tasted in my life , the beef melted in your mouth and with the combination of beer soaked onions and porcini mushroom it was amazing . A small down side was the sourdough felt a bit stale refrigerated and for this kind of price tag you would expect perfection Was it worth the £28 ... no but it may have been worth £17/£18 but even that that's at a push and would I go every week to get one ... no but that's just my opinion and definitely worth trying once bit that's it.

Harrods is always a unique and unmissable experience. The standard of service and customer care is beyond expectations. From the restaurants to the shops, everything at highest standards. People think that Harrods is only for rich but you can get affordable souvenirs like mugs or bags at decent price and piece of history with you. The events and experiences are also on different levels. Beyond fantastic! Not to mention the amazing rewards program when you spend on anything at Harrods. Do consider shopping during week as weekends it gets pretty crowded. If you want to visit special cafes or exhibitions I do recommend to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Food hall fantastic as ever! World class. Home floor fabulous. Some of the other, take it or leave it. Lots of pretentious folk about too worried about how fat their lips are. Mens wear great, women's not so great. But plenty of interest for all

What an experience. A total must when in London, if not for the brands the store carries, at least for the own brand and the food hall. The building itself is a statement, just browsing around is an experience in itself. The food hall offers almost anything one can dream of, hot and cold options, fresh and cooked, various cuisines. Then the bakery and dry goods selection is also noteworthy and especially during Xmas time. Last but not least, the own brand offers quite a variety of usable items, not just useless souvenirs, few designs, at decent prices. The whole vibe is amazing, totally recommend of you enjoy a bit (or a lot) of luxury.

A giant maze. I didn't make it past the ground level. Only walked around on circles in the Basement and Gtound Level. Beautiful place and the Food Hall was impressive

Did a visit to the Prada café and also to the inside shops. As always, this place is top-notch service and excellent things to look at and unique gift ideas. We started with some bread and olives that came with a very tasty oil and vinaigrette. I tried to toastie which was amazing. It was even a vegetarian option and the coffee drinks were very tasty.

Woooow! This place is Pretty cool! Epic details and designs. All the top brands and top quality products. Each floor has different themes, this is a MUST checkout. Save space for lunch at the bottom level because you'll want to try the food they have.

What a place to spend some time. This place is huge and the selection is just as much. Visited on a Monday evening and the place was still a hive of activity. Grabbed a couple things for the journey home, I would prefer to spend much more time here and do some serious shopping! Next time.

It's always a wonderful department store to visit no matter how many times. I wish I had more money to enjoy shopping even more. The underground grocery section had nothing but luxury items.
