Dartmouth House

I cannot sing enough praises about Dartmouth House and the team. I can’t believe what an incredible stroke of luck it was that an outcome of all the hours spent searching for a venue was the most lovely, memorable summer wedding we could have asked for. A special recognition needs to go to our coordinator Camilla Criswell. Our original coordinator left quite abruptly after we signed our contract, to no fault of the venue’s, and much to our dismay as a couple new to wedding planning in general. From the moment Camilla stepped in however, she took the time to understand us as a couple and our ideas for the wedding day, catch up on anything that had been discussed with our previous coordinator, and address any gaps that were the result of switching coordinators. Camilla was always extremely responsive on email, patient and meticulous with details. She took the time to give us unbiased opinions and suggestions, and very much gave us the sense all the way through our interactions that everything was under control which, for a couple getting married for the first time, is much needed. Her wealth of experience was extremely clear from our interactions as at no point did we feel like ‘just another couple’ getting married at Dartmouth House. The food at Dartmouth house is also nothing short of fantastic. The taste and presentation were equally matched in impressiveness. We were able to attend a tasting beforehand which in itself is an experience, and a very nice way for us as a couple to experience a part of the wedding that would fly by on the day. You would also not expect much from house wines typically, but the Dartmouth House house wine is lovely. To the point that we had tried other wines that could have been paired with the food and still preferred the house wine. Before our wedding we had visited Dartmouth house a few different times, that by the time the wedding rolled around, we felt a familiarity with it and all the lovely people who make up one of the most professional teams I’ve had the pleasure of seeing in action at any wedding. On the day of the wedding, Camilla and her colleague Roman took care of everything, needing minimal guidance, with not a single thing going wrong by the end of the day. The wider team at Dartmouth house is warm, ever present and there is a real sense of collaboration amongst everyone. The venue on the day of our wedding looked gorgeous and we had endless comments from our guests about it. Our suppliers also commented on how wonderful the team were to work with. All in all, I would strongly encourage every couple to consider Dartmouth House as their wedding venue. The team go above and beyond to make your day special, the location of the venue is so convenient for guests, and the venue and food together are spectacular. There was nowhere else we would have chosen anyway as from the moment we happened across it we knew it was perfect for us. However now on reflection there is nowhere else we can think of that is better for a wedding in general. Thank you to the team at Dartmouth House!!

My husband and I have picked the Dartmouth House for our wedding, and it was the best day of our lives. The whole Dartmouth House team was a pleasure to work with. Everything was perfectly organised, and they thought of every small detail. The food was very delicious, and of course the venue itself was breathtakingly beautiful. I still cannot stop thinking about the gorgeous staircase, long drawing room and courtyard. All of our guests have told us throughout the whole day how much they were in love with the venue. The team has perfectly prepared each room, and announced our entrance before entering each area. This made the experience even more magical. We will forever remember this day and would like to thank the incredible Dartmouth House Team.

As a wedding filmmaker, I've had the pleasure of shooting at Dartmouth House on three separate occasions, and I have to say, I'm absolutely blown away by this venue! From the stunning architecture to the beautiful courtyard, every inch of this venue exudes elegance and sophistication. The staff at Dartmouth House are incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail. They work tirelessly to ensure that every wedding runs smoothly, and they're always available to answer any questions or concerns. I've worked with many venues over the years, but Dartmouth House truly stands out for their commitment to excellence. As a filmmaker, I'm always looking for unique and beautiful backdrops to capture the magic of a wedding day, and Dartmouth House delivers on every level. The interiors are simply breathtaking, with ornate ceilings, grand staircases, and beautifully appointed rooms that provide the perfect backdrop for any wedding. And the gardens are simply stunning, with manicured lawns, blooming flowers, and charming walkways that make for amazing photo and video opportunities. Overall, I can't recommend Dartmouth House enough! If you're looking for a venue that's elegant, sophisticated, and simply breathtaking, look no further than Dartmouth House. As a wedding photographer London I do visit massive amount of wedding venues in London, and I have to say that Dartmouth House is one of the most amazing venues I ever shoot. It is such a high class place where you definitely you can have your wedding on highest level. Totally recommend it for future brides and grooms.
