Lovely little spot just across from Belsize station. We popped in after staying in the area for some breakfast before heading home. Cosy atmosphere and we were well looked after by the lovely staff. We both ordered eggs benedict with a tea and apple juice. The food was just what we needed (even if I was the only one with the runny eggs). Was warm inside so not sure if the ceiling fan worked but did not ruin our visit. Price was more than reasonable as came to around £20 altogether. Would recommend if in area

Cosy little joint opposite Belsize Park Underground station. Popped in on the off-chance that they might do takeaways....and they do! Went home with scampi, chips and salad (currently £12.95) Friendly service, and quite quick. Scampi very well done, as were the chips. Just what was needed.
I also found that the salad worked really well when I added my own herring with dill marinade.

The food is great, cheap too. The service is very friendly. The only negative is that we had to wait about an hour for our breakfast, a little understaffed. My meal also turned up with chips instead of beans as I ordered, but the chips were great.

We had breakfast here this morning. The lady who served us was super friendly, the portions were incredibly generous. The coffee was very nice as were the banana and chocolate pancakes! The atmosphere was relaxed and positive. A great way to start the day thank you 😊

This cafe is a hidden gem. The menu is extensive, which in my experience is often a sign of low quality. After all, how can a cafe serve both good felafel and lasagna? Well, the chez nous cafe can!! I have dined here multiple times and ordered variety of dishes and salads and the food has always been unpretentiously fresh and delicious.
The outdoor sitting is cozy and the staff are friendly.
Would definitely recommend and I will keep coming back!
