We stopped here for about half an hour, to have breakfast and to watch the world go by. It was simply perfect! Literally.
I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg - delicious and reasonably priced.
The staff were very friendly and very efficient. Our food and drinks were brought to our outside table almost immediately.
Yes, if you are in Covent Garden and want to go somewhere to relax and have a light meal, I would try here .
Incidentally I noticed some very tasty looking specials inside - hot lamb wraps for instance.
A nice little cafe, too small for seats inside but there are some tables outside. I dashed in for a takeaway tea, and the guy who took my order immediately asked how he could help. Him and the woman who made me my drink had a laugh and a joke, and got me involved too - despite the fact that I was only in there a minute. Relaxed, friendly environment :)
Great deli style pick up and go sandwich place. Got a beef club sandwich stuffed generously with tasty beef, pickles, tomatoes and mustard with all the extras. £6.50 for a sandwich of this quality on the corner of Covent Garden is mental, this place is a real gem.
Salt of the earth and proper good food, highly recommend it.

I am traveling through London for the first time from the US and stopped here for an incredible breakfast sandwich on my way back from running an errand. Run by two very nice and cheerful guys in the morning. My sandwich came on a baguette perfectly toasted, with a little butter and local cheddar. It tasted like real homemade food, like a friend made it for you, not something pre-packaged from a fast food place. Served with a hot coffee and steamed milk. Really enjoyed it! Looks like they had a bunch of other good sandwiches too. Would go back all the time if I lived in this neighborhood.
They seem like a grumpy pair but you won't meet another couple of the most nicest gentlemen anywhere around London, food's not bad either. I'd recommend earls any day of the week.
Great place to grab a breakfast roll or something fancier for lunch. Good selection of fillings, many with an Italian theme. Pasta dishes change weekly, and what I've tried has been very tasty. Friendly staff too.

Favourite sandwich in London. Whopping great big chicken escalope baguette is the business if you are hungry. Chaps there always friendly and polite. Top sandwich joint, great value
Little sandwich bar. Has a wide selection of nice fillings for a sandwich or warp. Staff are friendly and helpful, and will generally make you anything you want if they have the ingredients available (which they generally do).
